What is You and Everything Else About?

You and Everything Else will follow two characters from different backgrounds as their friendship blossoms and evolves over the decades, with jealousy, love, and more shaping their lives. However, things will change when Sang-yeon gets a cancer diagnosis in her 40s and requests Eun-jung to accompany her as she decides to commit assisted suicide.
Park Ji-hyun talked about her character’s last wish to her friend to the Korea Times and said:
It might seem brazen to ask for such a thing, but for Sang-yeon it was about wanting forgiveness before the end.
Kim Go-eun elaborated on what her character was feeling when asked to accompany her friend on a journey from which only she would return. She said to Korea Times, “I thought about how I could truly let her go and send her off well. It made me reflect deeply on the feelings of those who remain and the opportunity to provide care and closure for someone I love.”
A trailer has been released, and now the wait is only for the show to premiere. Fans of the two actors are expecting to be swept away in a flawed tale of friendship that ends up enduring through decades of hardships. Overall, it is refreshing to see a tale of friendship in a landscape marked heavily with romance.
