WWE Crown Jewel Results: John Cena’s Unheard of Record, Roman Reigns Fights With Family, Seth Rollins Cheats and More

By Charles Martinez 10/11/2025

After weeks of tension, the seventh Crown Jewel finally took place on Saturday at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, and it delivered. After all, it was the first time that the PPV took place outside Saudi Arabia, and it delivered, featuring five epic matches with the biggest possible superstars that WWE has to offer.

The PLE did not waste time on the action and immediately started things hard with the Australian Street Fight Match, getting the Australian crowd on their feet. The international fans were buzzing with excitement throughout the event, filling the arena with deafening chants as they watched John Cena and AJ Styles for one last time. With that being said, here’s what happened in the show!

Jey Uso’s Accidental Spear Gave Bronson Reed the Win Over Roman Reigns

The match did not immediately start with heavy action, as Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed engaged in an intense stare-off. But it did not take long for The OTC to bring the fight to the man who sent him out on a stretcher at WWE Clash in Paris. The ring was too small to contain the heat between the two as Reigns sent Reed to the WWE Universe, attacking him with a bin.

But he kept his attacks varied, attacking him with a cricket bat on the ribs. Reed rolled out of the ring to get a breather, sending the Grand Slam Champion down, but it was not long enough before he brought him the punishment. The momentum shifted as The Aus-zilla attacked The Tribal Chief with the steel steps and a steel chair, focusing on his foe’s ribs, and continued to trash-talk with him.

After a massive clothesline from Reigns, the fans were at their feet, but they were all hushed as Reed delivered a Jagged Edge for a nearfall. The match seemed to be in Reigns’ favor as he lined up to send The Tribal Thief through the barricade, but Bron Breakker interfered with a vicious Spear and then sent him through the announce table. The Usos took out The Vision, but they got up immediately and took out the twins. Reed lined up to give a Tsunami to The Yeet Master, but Reigns delivered a Superman punch. The momentum shift when Jey Uso accidentally delivered a Spear to Reigns through the table and a Tsunami was enough to end the match in Reed’s favor.

Stephanie Vaquer Outclassed Tiffany Stratton To Become the 2nd-ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion

The dream match of the night, featuring Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton, commenced in a technical manner with the former going for an early pinfall. The action started to pick up as La Primera kept the flow in her favor, delivering a big kick for another near fall, and then locked her in a submission of her own. The Buff Barbie left everyone agape with an outstanding Alabama Slam, leaving her opponent dazed. Check out the clip below:

But it was short-lived with a vicious Dragon Screw from Vaquer, leaving her screaming in agony. Both women kept countering each other, leading to near falls. Stratton’s moonsault was countered with a Devil’s Kiss, and her second attempt led to her crashing wildly on the mat. This was enough for Stephanie Vaquer to hit the Corkscrew Splash to become the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, creating history to be the first Latina champion.

Triple H, the CCO of WWE, came out to congratulate her on her victory, presenting her with the title and the ring, for which she fought tooth and nail.

John Cena Gets his 100th PLE Against AJ Styles

The match between John Cena and AJ Styles began respectfully, with both men showcasing their in-ring prowess and how well they know each other’s moves. The fans were ecstatic, chanting, “This is awesome.” The intensity kicked up with Styles getting the better of The 17-time WWE Champion, leaving him down in a corner and taunting him. However, a humongous clothesline from Cena helped him to get an upper hand against his old rival.

Both of them kept countering each other’s moves, filling the arena with deafening pops, as Cena delivered an AA for a two-count. The match was now not about winning to gain the bragging rights against each other, as Styles and Cena decided to borrow the iconic finisher from the playbook of various wrestling legends, including the likes of Randy Orton, The Miz, Bray Wyatt, Rusev, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, and more. The match reached its boiling point, where The GOAT mustered up all his strength and delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to The Phenomenal One, picking up his WWE career’s 100th PLE win. Following the match, they shared a moment of respect with each other, raising each other’s arms, and they blew off the roof with the performance they pulled against each other.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky Settle the Score With The Kabuki Warriors

The match could not hold the tension between both teams as The Kabuki Warriors went right after Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. The four women were throwing hands, getting the fans on their feet, leading to Kairi Sane and Ripley getting out of the ring, leaving Asuka and Sky in the squared circle. The Genius of the Sky brought the fight to her former mentor, leaving her on the mat, extracting revenge for abandoning her.

Despite The Empress rolling out of the WWE ring, Sky was not going to leave her alone, delivering a reckless suicide dive. However, Sane came to Asuka’s rescue, helping her catch a breather. After barely making it to the ring, The Kabuki Warriors continued to punish Sky for her actions. Both teams made a hot tag. The Eradicator was on fire, taking out both members of The Kabuki Warriors.

Chaos continued to take place in the ring, as emotions were high, as Iyo Sky got the better of her former family, as The Pirate Princess took a Riptide and a Moonsault, giving Rhiyo the much-needed victory.

Seth Rollins Played Dirty Against Cody Rhodes To Overcome His Inner Demons

The main event of the match was intense and emotional, as Seth Rollins was laser-focused against Cody Rhodes and desperate to pick up a much-needed victory against the Undisputed WWE Champion. The desperation was evident as he struggled to control the momentum of the match, looking on his nerves, and the crowd did not help him as they provoked him just like the go-home edition of SmackDown.

After a brief trash talk, Rollins delivered a punch to Rhodes, even going for Pedigree and Stomp. The Messiah shifted his focus to the commentators, blaming them for how they provoked the fans against him at the Blue Brand. His distress paid off as he finally got the upper hand against The American Nightmare, countering his Disaster Kick with a powerbomb, leading to a near fall. Check out the clip below:

The Visionary was in the zone, as he mocked Rhodes by delivering a Cross Rhodes for a two-count. But he did not stop going to the top rope, missing wildly, but delivered a stomp only for another two-count. The disbelief in Rollins’ eyes was evident, and he walked out of the ring and wore the watch as a knuckle, but left it at the apron. This move cost him, taking his opponent’s finisher and barely kicking out of the pin.

Rollins had descended to madness, as later in the match he delivered a coast-to-coast, risking his body to take the win. At this point, the crowd was on their feet, but Rollins finally decided to go dirty, using the watch as a knuckle whilst the official was distracted. The match concluded with Seth Rollins overcoming his demons, delivering a stomp from the second rope, picking up the win against Rhodes, and becoming the 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.

The 2025 Crown Jewel was outstanding, featuring five matches that were all action-packed. While every match had its winners, it also had losers, but when talking from a storyline perspective tonight, the biggest winners of the PPV were John Cena and Seth Rollins, who had the biggest matches of their WWE careers. At the same time, Roman Reigns took the biggest loss in the PPV as he had an argument with Jey Uso following his loss.
