Will Battlefield 6 Have Early Access Before Official Launch?

By Charles Martin 10/08/2025

The excitement for Battlefield 6 is higher than ever. Players are already counting the days (check the countdown here) and wondering if there’s any way to skip the line and get early access. Unfortunately, the answer is NO.

No matter what platform you’re on (PC, PS5, or Xbox), which edition you get, the game will officially launch worldwide on October 10, 2025, for everyone. However, the only thing available before that date is pre-load, which is great, as the game is 76GB.

All Pre-Orders Come With Rewards, Not Early Access

Unlike many AAA games, which reward players for pre-ordering the game with early access, Battlefield 6,

however, doesn’t follow this trend. Even getting the most premium edition won’t help you unlock early gameplay. Here’s what you are getting instead:

Standard Edition will give you the Tombstone Pack, which includes:

Phantom Edition (everything in Standard) plus the Phantom Pack, which includes:

While we are getting all these items to enjoy once the game launches, they don’t let you play early. On October 10, everyone hits the battlefield at the same time.

Can You Play Battlefield 6 Early Using the New Zealand Method?

The “New Zealand Method” is a well-known trick where players change their regions to New Zealand to get early access. How is that possible? Since New Zealand is so ahead of other countries, you can sometimes access a game ahead of the official global release.

This trick has worked on some titles, giving gamers a head start of a few hours or even a full day. However, Battlefield 6 is launching simultaneously worldwide. Even if you tried the New Zealand method, the servers will prevent early access.

EA has confirmed (with timezone on the map) that the game’s release time is synchronized, meaning every player, from Tokyo to Toronto, will hit the battlefield at the same time. This makes the trick ineffective this time around.
