What is Apple TV+’s Wild Things About?

Apple TV+’s limited series is an eight-episode limited series from creator, writer, and executive producer John Hoffman (Only Murders in the Building). The show will follow Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn, the legendary Las Vegas magicians, renowned for their iconic performances with white tigers.

Starring Jude Law as Siegfried and Andrew Garfield as Roy, the series will explore their ambitious mission to transform Sin City into a family-friendly destination while pushing the boundaries of illusion and reality.

The official logline of the series states, as per Variety,

[Wild Things] tells the wild ride relationship tale of showman-magicians Siegfried and Roy, who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo pushes the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.

Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn were a legendary magician duo known for their spectacular Las Vegas shows, famous for performing with white tigers and other exotic animals.

The narrative took a dramatic turn when one of their tigers, Mantacore, attacked Roy Horn during a 2003 show, critically injuring him, eventually leading the duo to shut down the show and officially retire from the show business in 2010 (The Guardian).
