Who Is 15-Year-Old Celeste Rivas Hernandez: D4vd’s Relationship With Her Is Extremely Unsettling

The dead body found rotting in the trunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla was 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a missing girl from Lake Elsinore, whose identity was confirmed last week through forensics. Her remains, discovered inside a Tesla Model Y at a Los Angeles tow yard, were “severely decomposed” that law enforcement couldn’t initially determine her age or ethnicity (per Rolling Stone). Note that the car was registered to D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke.

According to the report, the stench from the Tesla was what led police to the discovery. The car had reportedly changed parking spots for months before being left on Bluebird Avenue for three weeks. It was towed only after a complaint. “It moved around,” a local told Rolling Stone. “It’s chilling.”

Celeste’s mother told TMZ her daughter had a boyfriend named David. Now, Internet sleuths have pointed out eerie coincidences: a leaked D4vd track repeatedly names “Celeste”, lyrics that border on obsession, and both the artist and the teen reportedly had the same tattoo inked.

How Was Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s Body Discovered? Is D4vd Involved in Her Death?

As we know, the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found in the trunk of an impounded Tesla registered to D4vd, after workers at a Hollywood tow yard complained of a foul odor coming from the vehicle. The LAPD responded, and what they discovered was harrowing: a badly decomposed, partially dismembered body, hidden inside the car for what officials say was “an extended period

” (per Radar Online).

The vehicle, a 2023 Tesla Model Y, had been seen parked across various Hollywood Hills streets over the past few months (via NBC Los Angeles). Sources told Rolling Stone it had been sitting untouched on Bluebird Avenue for around three weeks before being reported abandoned. FOX 11 Los Angeles reports authorities believe the body was placed in the trunk roughly five days before it was towed.

D4vd has yet to make a personal public statement. However, his rep told NBC Los Angeles,

D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.

That said, he went radio silent on Instagram, and his scheduled concert in Seattle was abruptly canceled. Whether D4vd had any direct involvement remains unproven. No charges have been filed. But as the LAPD confirmed, there is no official cause of death (NBC Los Angeles reported):

At this time, the LAPD does not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death. Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time.

D4vd’s reps insist he’s “fully cooperating with the authorities”. The LAPD is now handling the case as the lead agency.

Claims of Relationship & Matching Tattoos Between D4vd and Celeste Rivas Hernandez Surface Amid Investigation

The claims of an unsettling connection between D4vd and Celeste Rivas are growing harder to ignore. Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s mother already informed TMZ that the teenager had a boyfriend named David, and fans believe a paper trail may link her directly to the singer.

Online detectives have uncovered Discord messages exchanged between a user named Celeste and D4vd when she was 12 years old. The girl’s digital footprint seemed to vanish just before her disappearance.

All the known evidence against D4vd so far: Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found in his Tesla car dead & wrapped in plastic, they have photos together, matching tattoos, the victim’s mother confirms she was dating someone named David, Discord chats between Celeste & D4vd were found… pic.twitter.com/V9GhUP77x2

But the smoking gun may lie in D4vd’s own lyrics. A previously unreleased demo titled Celeste_Demo unfin, which leaked in 2023, contains lyrics like (per TMZ):

Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes.

And another unsettling line:

Afraid you’ll only love me when undressed / But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress.

To add to the eerie parallels, both Hernandez and D4vd have that same “Shhh…” tattoo. This detail, confirmed by her mother and matched by the medical examiner, is perhaps the most unsettling of all.

So far, police have not named D4vd as a suspect. But the combination of leaked lyrics and tattoos has left the public and Celeste’s family with far more questions than answers.
