As of the latest rose ceremony in The Golden Bachelor Season 2, Mel Owens has narrowed down his options to Peg, Debbie, and Cindy. These three women will proceed to Hometown Week, where the bachelor will meet their families and further test which connection might last.
The former NFL player and now a lawyer/reality TV star, before handing the roses, reportedly stated (via US Weekly):
Your families, of course, are your biggest protectors and have your best interests at heart. So if you get a rose, we will be spending some significant and real time. I don’t take this decision lightly. It’s very important to me and I respect all of you.
Earlier, Mel had let go of Cheryl, who had reportedly remarked that she was falling in love with him, and Nicolle. Meanwhile, another contestant, Carol, had exited the show herself when she revealed that Mel wasn’t the right choice for her.
As for the final three choices, here is all you need to know about the final three women of The Golden Bachelor Season 3 (via ABC):
Peg Munson, 62
A retired firefighter and bomb tech, Peg hails from Las Vegas, Nevada. A single mom, she has stood out this season with her spirited personality and willingness to lean fully into every date moment.
A versatile person, she is also a professional dancer. Furthermore, she isn’t someone who doesn’t want to be a caretaker or play traditional roles in relationships; rather, she wants a genuine connection with Mel.
Debbie Siebers, 65
A fitness professional from Denver, Colorado, Debbie is literally the It Girl. Having a dazzling style, personality, and looks, she is still hopeful of finding a fairy-tale romance. Despite facing rejections, her spirit remains intact as she continues to search for the one.
A dog lover who loves to have fun, from singing to going to music festivals, she has spoken openly about being ready for real love again after years of experiencing life’s ups and downs.
Cindy Cullers, 60
A retired Biomedical Engineer from Austin, Texas, Cindy is a mom of three with an admirable personality. Always eager to try new things, since retirement, she has been enjoying hiking, paddleboarding, and getting to know more about Texas.
Having quietly built chemistry with Mel through meaningful conversations and a grounded, mature approach, she is a fan favorite. She once dated Chuck Norris and is now looking for love.
While many started the season, only these three now remain. Their journeys are far from over; the upcoming hometown visits will deepen the stakes and show which relationships have the strongest foundation going forward. What do you think has the highest chances of ending up with Mel?
The Golden Bachelor airs on ABC Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
