Where Is Taylor Swift Living Now: Inside Her $150 Million Houses

By Paul Johnson 10/12/2025

Ever since Taylor Swift got engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce, fans have been wondering about where they would settle together. Swift, an elite billionaire artist, has an impressive real estate portfolio worth over $150 million. She has been buying houses for herself since 2009, just four years after Big Machine signed her at the age of 15.

The Tribeca neighborhood in Manhattan, New York, has been serving as her primary residence, but she has also been hanging out regularly at her Nashville and LA homes. And her Rhode Island mansion is her vacation spot, where she hosts parties for her friends (and probably will be her wedding destination as well!).

While fans earlier speculated that Swift and Kelce would probably settle down in her Nashville home, there have been rumors that suggest otherwise. Sources told The New York Post that the couple were house hunting in Cleveland, Ohio. Some even suggested the Hunting Valley village in Chagrin River Valley as their ideal spot for a dream home.

Other reports have also emerged saying that Swift is looking for houses in London, U.K. (via Daily Mail). It was reported that she has fallen in love with the Hampstead and St. John’s Wood neighborhoods in the capital city. Here are all the details about the houses that she has lived in.

1. Tribeca Penthouse

In 2014, Taylor Swift bought one of her first Tribeca properties in New York. She purchased two adjacent penthouses at 155 Franklin Street, which used to be owned by The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson. She combined the two penthouses into one single home, spanning 5,869 sq ft, with some rework.

The purchase included $14.85 million for the apartment and $5.1 million for a neighboring three-bedroom unit, bringing the total amount to $19.95 million. Swift’s luxurious penthouse contains 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and a billiards room.

Swift loaned out the place to her best friend, Sophie Turner, when she and Joe Jonas filed for divorce in 2023.

2. Tribeca Condo Expansion

Four years after purchasing her Tribeca penthouses, the Cruel Summer singer expanded her home again with another purchase. This time, she bought the second-floor unit of the building.

Swift paid $9.75 million for the unit to financier Jeremy Phillips, adding an additional 3,540 sq ft of space to her property in New York.

3. Tribeca Townhouse

Swift may have plans to buy the entire block in her Tribeca neighborhood. In 2017, she bought the townhouse next door to her apartment for a massive $18 million. It was a hundred-year-old three-s tory home, spanning 3,660 sq ft and featuring antique French oak floors and a planted terrace with a Japanese paper glass wall.

She has already submitted permits to the NYC Department of Buildings for renovations to her Franklin Street compound worth $1 million (via Page Six).

4. Northumberland Estate

The Blank Space singer owns a Greek revival estate in the capital of Tennessee. She bought the property, originally built in 1934, for $2.5 million back in 2011. Notably, the Anti-Hero singer has been spending a lot of time at this Nashville estate to be closer to Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs’ home games.

5. Watch Hill Mansion

Taylor Swift’s waterfront mansion in Westerly, Rhode Island, is often a vacation spot for her and her friends. She bought the property back in 2013 for $17.75 million. The 11,000 sq ft estate is situated in a 5.23-acre property. The mansion, also popularly known as the High Watch or Holiday House, has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and eight fireplaces. The property, originally built in 1930, has a patio, a massive swimming pool, and 700 feet of private beachfront.

Swift hosts her famous 4th of July pool parties at this mansion. The Elizabeth Taylor singer took a deep dive into the history of the house and an American socialite named Rebekah Harkness, who once lived there. Rebekah was the wife of William Hale Harkness, who was the heir to the Standard Oil empire.

This became the subject of her 2020 song The Last Great American Dynasty. She shared about the socialite during a Rolling Stone interview in 2020:

Her name was Rebekah Harkness. And she lived in the house that I ended up buying in Rhode Island. That’s how I learned about her. But she was a woman who was very, very talked about, and everything she did was scandalous. I found a connection in that.

It was reported that Swift’s expansion would add a 16-by-24-foot bedroom and new bathrooms. She also allegedly planned to make some changes to her existing kitchen. Sources earlier told Page Six that Swift and Travis Kelce “are getting married next summer in Rhode Island” at her mansion.

6. Music Row Penthouse

Swift’s first personal investment into a real estate property was back in 2009, when she bought a $1.9 million duplex in the Adelicia complex on Nashville’s Music Row. She was just 20 when she purchased the penthouse with three bedrooms, high ceilings, and a heated Olympic-length pool.

The apartment spans 3,240 sq ft and was designed in an Alice in Wonderland theme. Swift talked about the apartment in 2013, sharing with Vulture, “I wanted, like, every color.” According to Realtor, she also purchased the smaller one bedroom apartment below her penthouse for $387,000.

7. Beverly Hills Georgian Revival Estate

The Fate of Ophelia singer’s massive Beverly Hills mansion was once home to the famous movie producer Samuel Goldwyn, the co-founder of Goldwyn Pictures. She paid $25 million for the 1934 Georgian Revival estate in 2015. It spans 10,982 sq ft, making it one of the biggest houses in her possession.

This particular home has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a library, card room, a home theater with 35 mm projection, and staff lodging. It has hosted many Hollywood elites like Charlie Chaplin, Frank Capra, Marlene Dietrich, and Clark Gable (via Curbed LA).

Two years after the purchase, Swift’s request with the Beverly Hills City Council to make her home a historic landmark got approved. Mayor Lili Bosse previously thanked Swift for restoring the historic home, sharing, “I think this is a true community gem and really so thrilled that this will be landmarked and preserved” (via Mansion Global).

8. Beverly Hills Mini-Estate (SOLD)

In an off-market deal in 2018, Taylor Swift sold her mini-estate in Beverly Hills to Nicolas Bijan Pakzad, the heir to House of Bijan. The transaction earned her $450k in profit, according to the Daily Mail. She purchased the 1.4-acre property back in 2011 for $3.55 million and sold it for $4 million.

The 1942-built mini-estate featured 2,800 sq ft of living space, an additional guesthouse, and a sports court. The main house had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living room. It also had an office space and an open-plan kitchen.

9. Beverly Hills Midcentury Modern Home (SOLD)

In 2018, Taylor Swift sold one of her Beverly Hills properties which she primarily used as a guesthouse. The bungalow was sold for $2.65 million (via Page Six). She bought the beautiful small home in 2012 for $1.77 million. It had four bedrooms, a private courtyard, three skylights, a freeform pool, and a wine cellar.

10. Hyannis Port Waterfront Home (SOLD)

Remember when Taylor Swift was in a relationship with the Kennedy family member, Conor Kennedy. Rumors had it that she bought a property in Hyannis Port near the Cape Cod Kennedy family home to be closer to Conor. However, other sources denied the rumors, stating the Hyannis Port home was just another investment opportunity.

She bought the seven-bedroom waterfront home for $4.1 million and sold it a few months later for $5.67 million. The 5,000 sq ft home is situated on 1.11 acres of land. It has three garages, a heated in-ground pool, and a firepit area. Recently, PEOPLE reported that this home was listed for sale for an asking price of $14.5 million.

11. West Village Townhouse Rental

Swift’s Tribeca home underwent several renovations when she purchased additional properties. During this time, she famously rented a West Village townhouse, paying $38,000 per month in 2016 and 2017. So, what’s so special about a rental? Well, the house is located on Cornelia Street, which you might recognize as the name of one of her songs from her 2019 album Lover.
