One Piece Chapter 1160 Confirms a Blackbeard Theory & Dragon Pulls a Luffy
All of these spoilers come from @pewpiece on X, who consistently releases One Piece manga plot points before their release. In the cover story, Yamato visits Oden’s shrine and pays respect to his role model. However, the next hint caught our attention.
For years, One Piece fans have discussed Blackbeard’s race, as his stature is similar to Bartholomew Kuma’s. Many theories believed they might be the same race. Chapter 1160 reveals that the Davy Family is Buccaneers, confirming the theories. It also makes sense why the World Government is more vehement on wiping out or enslaving their clan, just as they did with Kuma’s family.
The God Valley Incident begins, and Shanks’ mother asks Dragon to take care of her children’s future. While we know that the Red-Haired Emperor ended up on the right path, Shamrock is a God’s Knight. At the end of the chapter, he does fulfil the mother’s wish and saves them. Dragon’s role, however, isn’t over yet.
Just as a Celestial Dragon is about to harm Kuma, Dragon shoots them. This is an incredible parallel to Luffy’s iconic moment in the Sabaody Archipelago Arc, when he punched Charlos. The father and son are more alike than we realized.
Chapter 1160 will also feature many panels from 1096, which did give us a glimpse of God Valley earlier, but redrawn. It might show us the unbiased truth, without any unreliable propaganda. Moreover, all the God’s Knights are introduced, one of which looks like a Yeti with horns. Lastly, @pewpiece says there will be a break next week, so 1161 will be delayed.
