What Did Bubba the Love Sponge Do? Missy Beefcake’s Accusation Details

Bubba the Love Sponge has got himself in trouble once again with an act that annoyed Missy Beefcake to her core. The wife of Hulk Hogan’s wrestling colleague, Brutus Beefcake, recently posted a video on her X account where she lashed out at the American radio personality’s recent project.

Bubba made the daring call to create a documentary about Hogan, which would also touch on his infamous s*x tape controversy. Hogan’s friend’s documentary is set to release on September 12, 2025, and Missy Beefcake is fuming at the situation. (via X)

So, here we go again. Bubba the Love Sponge [is] trying to make a dollar off the Hulkster, again. This time, I heard, he’s making a documentary…

But she isn’t the only one who took offense at Bubba’s project. The late WWE star’s friend is also dealing with a lawsuit for releasing the documentary.

Bubba’s choice to include Hogan’s se* tape controversy in his documentary took a massive toll on him. Missy Beefcake may have limited her response to just dissing the 59-year-old on social media, but Hogan’s son, Nick, filed a lawsuit against Bubba for unfair usage of his father’s videos.

In 2016, a similar attempt to publicize Hogan’s s*x tape resulted in the doom of a media house named Gawker Media. The media house made the terrible mistake of posting an edited version of Hogan’s s*x tape online without his consent. The ‘Hulkamania’ star sued Gawker Media for invasion of privacy and ended up receiving $140 million after winning the lawsuit, which bankrupted the media house.

The multiple-time WWE champion also secured the legal rights to his controversial video from the United States Copyright Office, which he said was taken without his consent or knowledge. Bubba’s documentary reportedly highlights the Hogan vs. Gawker case, and hence Hogan’s son, Nick, sued him on the grounds of federal trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and breach of contract (via Fox 13).

Nick and the Hogan estate earned a restraining order from a court in Tampa after filing the lawsuit, but as of now, the release date for Bubba’s documentary still reportedly stands at September 12, 2025. However, while Nick took offense at Bubba’s project involving his father, Hogan’s daughter had a completely different reaction to the project.

Nick Hogan may have earned a restraining order from the court to restrict Bubba from promoting or publishing the documentary and other related content, discussing Hogan’s s*x tape, but that didn’t stop Bubba from organizing a special screening of his documentary on September 5.

Shockingly, it was also attended by the deceased WWE star’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, who seemed to have no complaints about Bubba’s documentary. Later, Brooke spoke before the camera about her side of the story.

She opined that Bubba’s decision to touch on the Hogan se* tape controversy in his documentary wasn’t anything “malicious,” detailing how her father and Bubba were good friends who were separated by various factors of society. She said:

This se* tape was not something that Bubba maliciously did to my dad. I know that because my father told me that himself. Unfortunately, public perception and all the legal things—how you look to the public—got in the way of their friendship.

Well, are you startled after knowing how Hogan’s son and daughter viewed Bubba’s project in entirely different ways? Also, given Nick’s lawsuit, do you think Hogan’s former friend will be able to release his project without any hassles? Let us know in the comments below.
