The October 6, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW (via WWE) added a new chapter of animosity between Iyo Sky and the Kabuki Warriors. But a standout moment during the clash between the duo could have transitioned to something much more.

During the heated clash between Sane and Sky with Asuka on the ringside, a powerbomb from Sane on the corner of the ring created an impact on the back of Iyo Sky’s head. Had this been a few inches above the intended impact, Sky would’ve suffered a major head and neck injury and would’ve definitely been out of WWE programming for some time.
Kairi Sane Carves Out a Relentless Assault on Iyo Sky
The Kabuki Warriors were determined to deliver a statement against Iyo Sky before their high-stakes clash at Crown Jewel 2025. Kairi Sane and Asuka, one of the greatest Japanese wrestlers to have ever stepped into the WWE ring, managed to do just that by completely dominating the former Women’s World Champion.
While Kairi Sane was initially hesitant to unleash an assault on Iyo Sky, her former ally in Damage CTRL, she followed the orders from Asuka, exemplifying her loyalty and displaying her skills inside the squared circle.
There were moments of prominence from Iyo Sky as she pulled out some counterattacking moves against Sane. But towards the ending segment, with Asuka to her aid, Kairi Sane delivered an insane elbow and sealed an emphatic win against her rival before their crucial match at Crown Jewel 2025
This is the third time the Kabuki Warriors have attacked their rivals in successive editions of Monday Night RAW. It will be interesting to watch if and in what manner Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky carve out an attack as the heated feud between them develops and seek vengeance against Asuke and Kairi Sane.
The Battle Lines Between Kabuki Warriors and Iyo Sky Are More Evident Than Ever
When the Kabuki Warriors reunited and returned to the squared circle, no one thought that they would be at odds with Iyo Sky, their former partner in Damage CTRL. But the way things have unfolded and the storyline developed have made them bitter enemies before Crown Jewel 2025.
Tensions have been mounting between them for some time now. It all started during the August 11, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW (via WWE) when Roxanne Perez defeated Iyo Sky after an intervention from Asuka, and Kairi Sane turned into a disaster for the former women’s world champion.
Asuka later slapped Iyo Sky in a heated moment. Riya reply emerged on the scene to check if the former women’s world champion is alright. While she was told not to intervene in the personal matter between Asuka, Sane, and Sky, the affection from the self-styled ‘Mami’ of the WWE was clear.
The brief altercation Sky and Ripley had with the Judgement Day worsened the relations between Sky and the Kabuki Warriors.
Both Ripley and Sky emerged on the scene to help one another during their respective matches, but Asuka did not like it. She perceived Ripley as meddling in the relations between former allies. Despite that, the synergy between Ripley and Sky blossomed both inside and outside the ring during this time.
The feud between the combined forces of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky against Kabuki Warriors became evident when Asuka viciously attacked Rhea Ripley and blinded her with the mist during the September 22, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW (via WWE).
With Crown Jewel 2025 right around the corner, it will be interesting to see how the storyline further develops between these prolific performers inside the ring. Will Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky defeat the Kabuki Warriors at Crown Jewel 2025? Only time will tell.
