The trailer for Tyler Perry’s Finding Joy is here, and if you’re asking if Joy is falling for a serial killer, the answer is no. As Joy got stranded in a snowstorm in Colorado, Joy asked his rescuer, Ridge, “Are you a serial killer?” Ridge responds, “Save you to kill you later? NO.” It was just a playful exchange between the two characters, which shows it’s all part of a twisty romance, not a crime thriller.
The trailer offers a first look at Joy (Shannon Thornton), a New York fashion designer. Her crush, Colton (Aaron O’C onnell), invites her to Colorado to spend the holidays. However, things take a wild turn when she’s lost and a snowstorm leaves her stranded. She unexpectedly meets Ridge (Tosin Morohunfola), a stranger whose warmth and kindness melt her heart.
