Triple H’s Version of The Shield Is Scarier: But Brock Lesnar Should Replace Seth Rollins as The Vision’s Leader

By Kevin Rodriguez 10/14/2025

The RAW post-Crown Jewel was a treat to watch, with The Vision turning on Seth Rollins, and they are now without their Visionary. But who needs The Architect as their leader when they can have Brock Lesnar leading the pack? According to a post on social media (via X), The Beast Incarnate could be the fourth potential member of the faction. Check out the tweet below:

The user’s claim that this group will be the “most dominant” in wrestling history was not false, as Paul Heyman will be the brains behind this new group. On paper, this seems true, as the three men are currently the most dominant names in the roster and are in the form of their lives. However, they still might not be a match to Triple H’s version of The Shield.

Why Triple H’s Version of The Shield Was the Most Dominant Faction in WWE History

There have been a plethora of factions created in the history of WWE, which have had their fair share of success, winning titles, and going on incredible runs. The New Day, nWo, Ministry of Darkness, The Nexus, and many others have surely left their mark on the wrestling promotion brand. However, none of them could match the popularity and fan following that The Shield, originally featuring Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose, has had since they made their explosive debut in 2012.

What made them more meaningful and enjoyable to watch was not dominating every storyline, as if the company was shoving it down our throats. The creative team found the perfect balance with them, giving them the right amount of exposure and showing that they had a real motivation behind each of their actions.

Moreover, every member has showcased their in-ring finesse, as every member of the faction is a Grand Slam Champion. Clearly, they made us believe in how unstoppable they could have been if Rollins had not betrayed Reigns and Ambrose in 2014.

However, they were a force of nature when they worked with Triple H on separate occasions. The first being during The Authority segment, where Paul Levesque played the role of the enforcer and made the trio do his bidding, sending them through the table with their Shield bomb, carrying out the dirty work, and silencing any uprising that took place.

Another instance is from 2017, when Triple H decided to fill in the boots of Roman Reigns only for a night, as they took on Bray Wyatt and The Bar during a live event in Glasgow. What made this faction truly dominant is how the trio was immensely loyal to The Game, and were efficient and threatening, putting pressure on the rebels and even taking the fall to keep Hunter safe.

Since then, Triple H has tried to create several knock-off versions of the faction, which showcased a similar potential but eventually failed to meet the same standards that had been set by them.

Did WWE Make the Right Move by Pulling The Trigger on Seth Rollins and The Vision?

The ending of the most recent RAW has been truly shocking, as Bron Breakker decided to Spear Seth Rollins, with ‘Big’ Bronson Reed crushing him with a massive Tsunami, turning him into a pancake. However, many fans have felt that this betrayal did not make sense. After all, The Messiah finally overcame his demons to defeat Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, Reed defeated Roman Reigns, and Bron Breakker crushed anyone who dared to stand in his way.

The group seemed stronger than ever, with each member being at their best. Then why did WWE choose to disband them in such an unforeseen manner? It turns out Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful took to X, reporting how the World Heavyweight Champion was seen in a sling following his match with The American Nightmare. Check out the moment Rollins potentially injured himself:

In another report from PW Insider, it was stated that the coast-to-coast dive might have left him injured. Here’s what the report mentioned:

The belief is Rollins hurt his left shoulder landing while executing the coast to coast dive towards the upside down Cody Rhodes, who was hanging in the turnbuckles.

This move ensures that Rollins could be written off from the storyline, all while WWE gives a massive push to The Big Dog, potentially making him the next World Heavyweight Champion, and what better way to do it than by winning it against his former leader? This would be a great move because The King Slayer acknowledged the “whispers of potential” at the beginning of the show.

With Brock Lesnar potentially joining the two Brons and Paul Heyman, do you think they will be as dominant as The Shield? Let us know in the comments below!
