Bringing the classic shonen vibes back, Tougen Anki Episode 11 put up a banger, drawing a decisive conclusion to the Tsubakiri vs. Shiki fight. Initially, it seemed like it would be one-sided throughout, with the only hope being whether Mudano and the others would come to the rescue. But little did we know, Shiki had that ‘fire’ in him.

No, like literally. While we already knew Shiki was Kishin’s child from the previous episode, the narrative further revealed that Kishin didn’t just have one child; he had many, as he had impregnated several women in his lifetime.
But again, it’s not like all of his children bear his powers. Only a selected few, specifically eight of them, would inherit the power in each generation, which is further branched into eight elemental attributes: Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Wind, Ice, Darkness, and Light.
So with the Fire attribute that Shiki suddenly unlocked, one he himself had no idea about, he managed to secure an unpredictable victory over Tsubakiri. But, now what?
What to Look Forward to in Tougen Anki Episode 11?

After this grand revelation, it’s surefire that the next few episodes will delve into the relationships of each character introduced so far and their potential connection to Kishin. We might even already have others in the Oni Academy who are potentially bearing one of the eight elemental attributes. But who could it be?
Kougasaki sounds like a strong candidate, and let’s not forget about THE guy, Mudano. Both have the potential to wield even greater strength than they already possess. With Tsubakiri now seemingly gone for good, the Oni people might finally have ample time to strategize and discuss their next goal. So, are you excited for the next episode?
Tougen Anki is currently available to watch on Crunchyroll.
