In Episode 8 of To The Moon, Da-hae is excited about her mother Jung-lim’s 60th birthday and rising crypto profits. However, her joy is disrupted when her estranged father, Yong-jik, is arrested for drunkenness and later crashes the birthday party, exposing Da-hae’s crypto investments.
After he collapses and is diagnosed with lung cancer, Da-hae struggles with resentment and guilt. Flashbacks reveal her mother’s past sacrifices, deepening Da-hae’s understanding.
Meanwhile, Eun-sang reconnects with her ex-husband’s family, and Ji-song faces pressure over Wei Lin’s visit. In the end, Da-hae reconciles with both her parents and Ji-woo, choosing compassion over anger.
