The WWE Women’s World Champion, Tiffany Stratton, delivered a highly exciting encounter against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania this year. The match between these two top-tier women’s WWE stars also featured a thoroughly chaotic buildup and ended with a victory for The Buff Barbie.
Besides enjoying the awesome Stratton vs. Flair encounter at WrestleMania 41, several fans took a massive interest in the topsy-turvy buildup to their WrestleMania match. However, Stratton’s response to a question about her experience regarding the lead-up to her match with Flair showcased that she doesn’t like discussing the chapter.

“The WrestleMania build? It was quite interesting. But I couldn’t even believe that I was going to be at WrestleMania, let alone walking in as the Women’s Champion. So, I was just trying to take every moment, be in the moment, and, enjoy the process. So, I’m really happy with how my WrestleMania performance was.”
Stratton’s avoidance indicates that she might be trying to turn the attention from something untoward in the lead-up to the WrestleMania 41 match due to her.
Tiffany Stratton Dissed Charlotte Flair for Failed Marriages
Most fans may remember how Becky Lynch roasted Nikki Bella, referencing the end of her six-year-long relationship with John Cena in the lead-up to their Clash In Paris encounter for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
However, Stratton used the same technique to deride Flair, long before Lynch used it on Bella. The 26-year-old mocked The Queen during the April 4, 2025, episode of SmackDown by going off the script. What is that record [of Flair’s failed marriages]? What? 0-3?
With Cena and Bella being renowned WWE stars, most fans already knew a lot about when and how their relationship ended. Hence, Lynch’s words didn’t have much of an effect on Bella except for an initial moment of shock.
However, Flair, who doesn’t publicly discuss much of her personal life, admitted that Stratton’s remark about her failed marriages “rocked” her. ‘The Queen’ confessed that getting “mocked” for such a “devastating” mishap didn’t please her. (via The Players’ Tribune)

I’m not too proud to tell you that… So I wasn’t expecting it to come up in that promo, and then all of a sudden I had an entire arena cheering as I got mocked for something that was (and frankly still is) devastating to me.
While Charlotte’s annoyance at Stratton’s distasteful remark is pretty understandable, her father, the legendary Ric Flair, also took issue with the reigning WWE Women’s Champion’s comments.
Ric Flair’s Comments About Tiffany Stratton’s Remarks
Ric appeared on the July 28 episode of The Ariel Helwani Show to express his views about Stratton’s jibe at Charlotte, referencing the latter’s three failed marriages. The Nature Boy viewed Stratton’s remarks as a “cheap shot” and opined that those comments shouldn’t have been part of the segment featuring the Stratton-Charlotte altercation. “You know what? I’m embarrassed for her, and… I’m not going to say anymore. I don’t want it to affect anything. But that was the cheapest shot I’ve ever heard in my life.”
Neither Helwani nor Ric knew that Startton’s remarks were unscripted. The Dirtiest Player in the Game still called her comments “hurtful,” regardless of their origin.
