By Paul Hernandez 10/11/2025

The new Netflix thriller, The Woman in Cabin 10, is adorned with an intriguing soundtrack as the movie unravels the mystery behind the woman in Cabin 10, whose body Laura (Keira Knightley) believes she saw in the sea on the first night of a luxury cruise hosted by Richard Bullmer for his ailing wife, Anne.

Though not extensive, the psychological thriller features a range of songs that add to the narrative, as Laura uncovers the truth and exposes the criminals on board. Here is the full list of soundtracks featured in the Netflix movie, as per IMDb.

1. Animal by Pearl Jam

Featured on Pearl Jam’s second studio album Vs., Animal was released in 1993. The song adds to the narrative of the Netflix thriller, appearing in the film at the 00:12:19 timestamp.

It serves as the background score for the introduction of Paul Kaye’s character, Danny Tyler, who makes a surprising entrance after all the guests have boarded the voyage.

Kaye portrays Danny Tyler, a somewhat washed-up music star, as well as a close associate of Richard Bullmer. However, his appearance, which is closely tied to the film’s soundtrack, is brief, as he leaves the cruise midway after offering his services.

2. The Gravedigger’s Song by Mark Lanegan Band

The opening single from Mark Lanegan’s seventh studio album, Blues Funeral (2012), The Gravedigger’s Song is featured in the movie as one of the tracks performed by Paul Kaye’s character, Danny Tyler.

The song appears at the 00:42:24 timestamp, during a scene where Laura, Richard, Anne, and other guests enjoy a private performance from Danny. He chooses The Gravedigger’s Song as his opening number, earning everyone’s praise and applause.

3. Darlin’ Don’t by Stephen Fretwell

Released in 2007 on Stephen Fretwell’s third studio album Darlin’ Don’t, the song follows closely after The Gravedigger’s Song as the next track performed by Danny Tyler during the gathering scene at the 00:43:02 timestamp.

It also contains a subtle detail that becomes significant once the film’s secrets are revealed. After performing The Gravedigger’s Song, Danny asks Anne about the song they once performed together. Anne, however, dodges the question, claiming she’s tired.

As Danny begins to play, she pauses on her way out and remarks that this is the song he was referring to. Danny then performs Darlin’ Don’t, while Laura’s suspicions about those around her continue to deepen.

4. We Were Just Here by Just Mustard

The title track from Just Mustard’s upcoming album, We Were Just Here, plays during the end credits of the film, closing the story as Laura finally reveals the truth and resolves the mystery of the woman in cabin 10. The haunting, atmospheric song perfectly complements the film’s tense and emotional finale. We Were Just Here is set to be released on October 24, 2025.

5. Strangers In the Night by Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra’s classic Strangers in the Night doesn’t appear directly in the movie, but it is featured in the trailer for The Woman in Cabin 10. The timeless song adds to the suspenseful and chilling tone of the trailer, perfectly setting the mood for the Netflix psychological thriller.
