The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5, E&E, picks up in the immediate aftermath of Eliza’s betrayal, with Hastings spiraling after realizing he may have crossed a line. Holed up in a safe house in Austria, he discovers the courier from the previous episode still alive in the car he escaped in. Desperate for answers, Hastings decides to extract information through brutal means.
The courier resists, but as Hastings escalates the torture, the man finally confesses that he is not an enemy operative at all. He works for German intelligence, and he insists the attack wasn’t orchestrated by the BND, though he couldn’t disclose who was behind it
Moments later, he loses consciousness and eventually dies, leaving Hastings shaken to his core that he has just killed a “friendly,” a man who could have been an ally. The episode closes with Hastings shaken. Not only has he killed a German operative, but he may also have painted a massive target on his own back.
Ben Confronts Eliza in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 kicks off with Ben (Taylor Kitsch) waking up in the tunnels and trying to make sense of what happened. Contacting Haverford, he’s told that Eliza is in Zurich and ordered to recover the stolen bearings. Ben tracks her to a hotel, where a c onfrontation finally unfolds.
Ben presses her on who she really works for, and Eliza reveals that she has been working for Mossad, who have their suspicions about Haverford’s source Shephard. They believe that he may be pulling strings for his own hidden agenda.

She claims that Tal and she have been working with Haverford for the same reason and that her mission was not betrayal but retrieving the case, stripping its tracker, and delivering it safely to Berlin.
The tense exchange is cut short by an ambush, which Eliza insists could be orchestrated by Shephard, pointing out that the attackers were speaking Farsi. Forced into uneasy alliance, they manage to escape the attack.
While Eliza pleads her case, stressing she meant no harm and was just doing her assignment, Ben, weighed down by doubts and loyalties, isn’t ready to trust her.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5: Is Eliza Perash Dead?
After finding a safe place, Ben inspects the bearings and notices that they differ from the ones Molnar originally gave Farooq. When he asks Eliza about it, she claims that they have been trying to find out the same.
She insists the bearings must be taken to Berlin, arguing that Mossad also wants to understand Shephard’s connection to Haverford. Ben, however, refuses to break from his mission and resolves to deliver the case directly to Haverford.

On the road the next morning, their car is targeted by bikers who plant an explosive on the roof. Ben narrowly escapes, but when the dust settles, he discovers Eliza lying motionless in a pool of blood. He takes the case and leaves.
The attack raises bigger questions. Were the bikers sent by Shephard? Or could Haverford have sanctioned the hit, ensuring the bearings reach him unchallenged? With Eliza’s journey in the show coming to an end, the true hand behind the frequent attacks on the team remains a mystery.
Did Tal Varon kill Shephard?
During her time with Ben in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5, Eliza revealed that Tal has been tracking Shephard and is currently in Munich. The episode shifts to Tal breaking into an apartment, where she begins copying data from a man’s devices.
Her mission, however, takes a sharp turn when she spots a hidden camera just as the man returns. A brutal fight follows, and for a moment, it seemed Tal might not make it out alive. But she manages to kill the man, seize his laptop, and flee from the scene.

But questions linger. Was this man truly Shephard, or simply another pawn in a wider game? The data Tal secured could hold the key, yet the true identity of Shephard remains uncertain. With Eliza’s revelations casting more doubt on Haverford’s intentions, the path forward for Ben grows even murkier.
Notably, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 doesn’t focus on Farooq, Haverford, or Landry, raising questions about their whereabouts and leaving plenty more to unravel in the next episode of the Prime Video action thriller.
