Episode 5 of The Dark Dice follows the group deciding to re-enter the deadly game after Aom reveals that it can grant wishes, something she learned from having played it before. A flashback shows Aom trapped in the game with another group of students, hunted by a terrifying creature. In a desperate move, she suggests that one of them must stay behind to let the others escape.
Back in the present, Aom proposes to Mark that they should play together, suggesting it will increase their chances of survival and victory. Mark agrees and retrieves the dice from their teacher.
Meanwhile, Mamay and Samut discuss rejoining the game to help resolve Kaen’s ruined project. Although the group is hesitant, their personal motives and unresolved tensions push them to take the risk once again.
When they enter, they find themselves in a hotel-themed version of Snakes and Ladders. Each player gets one dice and their fate is determined by the cards they draw. By the end of the episode, Aom and Samut land on a snake card, causing them to collapse and be trapped in the room below on the second floor, which has been destroyed.
The preview for Episode 6 teases the group’s attempt to rescue them, while Kaen faces his own peril and Don discovers the coveted golden 100 card that could secure his victory.
