Sylvester Stallone Reveals His Young Rambo Plan: Why He Believes Noah Centineo Can’t Do Justice

Before the reboot and plans for a prequel Rambo movie, Sylvester Stallone had already thought of a way to use AI to de-age him for a Rambo movie of his own.

The actor revealed to The Playlist that a few years ago, he had pitched a Rambo movie starring himself in the lead role of American soldier John Rambo. AI wasn’t the trend at that time, and Stallone stated that everyone thought he was crazy.

Everyone thought I was crazy. AI is sophisticated enough to go through Saigon to see him at 18 years old and basically use the same image. So it isn’t as big a stretch.

He continued,

It’s very, very hard. He [Noah Centineo] may do a stellar job, but you’re overcoming this because I went through it with ‘Get Carter’. Everyone loves the original, and then you’re always fighting that prejudice.

For those who might not know, Noah Centineo is going to be portraying the role of John Rambo in an upcoming movie set during the Vietnam War.

And that’s not all, Stallone even revealed that a biopic was in the works, which talked about Sylvester Stallone’s early days before landing the role of Rocky. Well, the actor wasn’t consulted for his own biopic!

Sylvester Stallone Wasn’t Consulted For His Own Biopic?

Although it might be acceptable to replace a hero from a legacy movie at some point, not consulting the person on whom a biopic is being made is a new low.

The actor revealed in his talks with The Playlist that Peter Farrelly’s upcoming movie, titled “I Play Rocky,” said that he had nothing to do with the project.

I was shocked to read [about] it. I have zero to do with it. Since I lived it, I thought I might be able to participate and give them some insight.

Well, of course, things are not going so great for the Rocky star since he also left the remaking of his own movie, Cliffhanger. One thing that can be said with certainty about the actor, though, is that despite the personal problems, his career is going quite well.
