Shin’s Project Episode 7 takes Mr. Shin, Jo Philip, and Si-on on a new mission as Baek Seung-mu faces accusations of jeonse fraud caused by his mother, Oh Mi-sook’s betrayal.
Mr. Shin then assigns Jo Philip and Lee Si-on to track down Oh Mi-sook and Lee Min-cheol, who are plotting another jeonse scam. Disguised as a couple, Jo Philip and Lee Si-on gather key evidence, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
Taking matters into his own hands, Mr. Shin kidnaps Oh Mi-sook and Lee Min-cheol, gives them fake drugs to scare them, and forces them to return the victims’ money. When the two later accuse him of threatening them, it’s revealed that the drugs were only glucose and vitamins.
Meanwhile, Mr. Shin learns that Yoon Dong-hee, the man who killed his son, has escaped from the facility and might be working with someone else. Suspicious money transfers hint at a possible contract killing. The episode ends with a mysterious woman’s photo being sent to Yoon Dong-hee, teasing a new case to unfold in the next episode.
