The date of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco‘s wedding is inching closer and closer, but it looks like Justin Bieber won’t be getting an invitation on his doorstep. His reported exclusion from the singer’s special day seems like an obvious choice, given their history.
According to an insider who confided in Radar Online, Bieber is not invited to Gomez and Blanco’s wedding, even if he wants to be on good terms with her. The report said,
Justin would like to be friends – he genuinely has no hard feelings, but Selena isn’t interested. The truth is, he did not treat her well, and out of respect for herself she doesn’t allow people that have hurt her to be in her world.
The source went on to add that their broken relationship will not be mending anytime soon, if ever, and that Gomez is extremely grateful to have found her fiancé.
For a long time, she thought Justin was the love of her life, but now she realizes how wrong she was. Benny is her soulmate, and she’s so grateful to have found him.
After the news of Blanco and Gomez’s engagement came out, a source close to the Peaches singer claimed that it “stung” him for a second, even if a reconciliation is not in the future.

Apart from Blanco and Gomez’s families, it is difficult to say which of their high-profile friends will be invited to the wedding. However, if we had to take a guess, Taylor Swift and Nicola Peltz Beckham could be present, along with Blanco’s frequent collaborators, Ed Sheeran and Matty Matheson.
There is also a chance that her Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Martin Short and Steve Martin, would also be present at the ceremony, as she previously said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She also joked that Short would be the ring bearer.

According to the report, the entire hotel will be closed off to the general public for the last weekend of September, and will be reserved only for the bride, groom, and their circle.
Insiders have claimed that the couple will escort their wedding guests to the wedding’s actual location, without revealing it to them beforehand, allowing them to have this moment in peace, away from prying eyes.

Just like all the girls excited for the day they’d get to marry the love of their lives, Gomez, too, has her checklist ready. In Allure‘s cover story for the Rare Beauty owner, she revealed that she has her handy-dandy Pinterest boards ready with everything she wants at her wedding.
This includes the style, food, and so on. She said, “I have all my folders of inspiration for the wedding, for cooking, for style.” Gomez also added that she and Blanco are not quite “sure what route we’re going to take.“
Allure believes that Gomez’s trusted makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, will be present at the wedding and doll up the singer for the big moment. Pinterest plays a huge part in their relationship, too. Gomez said,
If I find [a makeup look] I like on Pinterest, I lean into that, and then I’ll get a suggestion from Hung and combine it all. It’s a process.
Blanco might have gotten a say in the details of the wedding as she told the magazine that they have similar tastes when it comes to things like interior design. Gomez added, “That’s the fun part of creating a life with someone. Being able to pull inspiration and combine your view with theirs.“
