Amazon Prime’s The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 will soon give us the finale that no one saw coming. Sure, there are several angles we can think of how it can end, but there’s one particular theory that can entirely shift the game. Well, it’s Conrad’s (Christopher Briney) death.
While Jenny Han had already revealed that the show would not conclude as per the books, where Belly (Lola Tung) gets married to Conrad, Season 3 has already taken bold turns. As Han said (via Elite Daily)

Is There a Possibility Belly Ends Up with Jeremiah?
Another huge and expected possibility could be Belly ending up with Jeremiah after all. In the books and The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, their engagement falls apart; however, that doesn’t mean the door is shut forever. Sometimes, for the happily ever after, you first have to live apart. Moreover, Jeremiah has been constant in Belly’s life, unlike Conrad.

In the entirety of their relationship, Belly and Jeremiah had a reliable presence for each other, but a time apart can clear out the lingering feelings or doubts. Since Belly moved to Paris and Jeremiah got a job at his dad’s firm, both might find new maturity and clarity.
Just think, it’s always been about the love triangle- Belly choosing Jeremiah or Conrad. In the books, she chooses Conrad, but to twist things up, this time, she will choose Jeremiah yet again, giving fans an unexpected ending, especially after they just broke things off.
