One Punch Man: Every S-Class Hero Ranked Against Zoro of One Piece

Roronoa Zoro from One Piece is a master swordsman and a monster. When monsters enter the equation, trust heroes from One Punch Man to save the day. At present, there are a total of 13 S-Rank heroes, who stand at the top. But do the strongest heroes from One Punch Man stand a chance against Zoro?

The answer isn’t simple, so here’s a list that compares Zoro’s strength with the current S-Rank heroes of One Punch Man!

13. King

King is the Buggy of One Punch Man. He’s strong, according to the legends, and has reached the status of an S-Rank hero. It’s all luck and his intimidating appearance that got him there. This battle would end before it even begins, as King has no chance against Zoro.

12. Puri Puri Prisoner

Puri Puri Prisoner shares a similarity with Zoro: both of them heal fairly quickly after a challenging fight. Puri Puri Prisoner is probably better at that. But when it comes to fights? The S-Rank hero would lose. His muscles would fail against Zoro’s attacks. And while Zoro might find PPP’s strength interesting, it would fail to faze him. After all, this guy has fought the likes of Kaido in One Piece

11. Tanktop Master

The only place where Tanktop Master is beating Zoro is when it comes to their muscular physique. The S-Rank hero from One Punch Man has a huge and shredded frame. His physique is a sign of the brute strength he wields. He can throw Zoro around or throw objects at him, but for Zoro’s three swords, these attacks won’t be challenging enough. He will win without a struggle.

10. Pig God

Pig God and Zoro have a similar fighting style that ends with one finishing blow. Pig God fights by gobbling his opponents, but Zoro would push him to do more. That is, if the fight continues for that long.

9. Watchdog Man

A fight against Watchdog Man would confuse Zoro, because the S-Rank hero is a menace and fights like a wild dog. His brute strength probably surpasses that of Zoro, but in a close-ranged fight, Zoro has an advantage. He can withstand physical damage and still wield his sword and use it effectively to bring down his opponent.

Although Zoro might lose a limb or two in this fight if he is a second too late in swinging his sword

8. Drive Knight

Drive Knight could be considered the jack of all trades. Depending on the situation, he can do various transformations. These transformations are usually effective against Monsters, but that doesn’t include Zoro. The element of surprise might catch Zoro off guard, but it won’t be difficult for him to take down the Drive Knight.

7. Zombieman

Surprisingly, Zombieman might win against Zoro or drive him to a point of exhaustion. It’ll be interesting to see how his regenerative abilities come into play. Yes, Zoro can probably overpower him and cut him in half, but Zombieman can simply regenerate. This battle would go on forever, unless Haki comes into play.

It’s hard to tell whether Haki would be effective against One Punch Man characters. In case it is, an attack imbued with Haki could probably bring down Zombieman by rendering his regeneration useless. Even though Zoro is highly likely to win, this fight would be exciting because Zombieman has some great attacks and abilities, both long and short-ranged, including his swordsmanship.

6. Flashy Flash

Flashy Flash has a sharp fighting style that’s carefully planned out. He would be able to understand Zoro’s fighting style, and his speed would allow him to stay ahead of Zoro. However, the most important thing that is needed against Zoro is effectiveness.

Unless Flashy Flash’s attacks are physically lethal and deadly, they can’t keep Zoro down. He’s a monster and has survived death more than once in One Piece. So, Flashy Flash might successfully attack Zoro multiple times, but they probably won’t be lethal enough for him.

5. Bofoi

Bofoi or Metal Knight has many robots in his arsenal, which can be used as weapons and puppets. It’s a powerful ability, and Bofoi will be able to severely injure Zoro with his explosive abilities. However, when it comes to objects or any kind of weapons, Zoro can simply cut things down. That’s his biggest strength.

This man nearly killed himself learning to cut steel, so if there’s anything that can be cut, then that battle is sealed for Zoro. Bofoi will give us a great fight, but Zoro will win.

4. Atomic Samurai

On this entire list, Atomic Samurai is the best match-up for Zoro, and this is the battle he’s most likely to enjoy as well. Atomic Samurai is a highly skilled swordsman, and he’s probably better than Zoro. After all, he once used a toothpick as a sword, which is cooler than what Mihawk accomplished with his small knife in One Piece. Atomic Samurai might be better overall, but Zoro has the tendency to evolve during fights.

He reaches a near-death point and ends the battle with a winning attack. He’ll learn a lot from Atomic Samurai and just use all the learnings to defeat him. It’s hard to tell how effective Armament Haki will be against Atomic Samurai, but it can provide Zoro with a great advantage.

3. Genos

Just like Tatsumaki, Genos is equally matched with Zoro in overall strength, if not stronger. Both characters can win the fight, and it wouldn’t be surprising. One thing that’s confirmed is that it’ll be a close-range battle, which is Zoro’s expertise. He doesn’t have numerous attacks or many flashy abilities; his power system is his swordsmanship.

He has only focused on one thing and has become a master of it. So, in a close-ranged fight, it’s hard to imagine Zoro losing. Genos can land some lethal attacks, which would leave Zoro wounded and unable to move. And that’s when Zoro rises from the dead for one last slash and wins. So Genos could win, but Zoro probably has better chances.

2. Tatsumaki

Tatsumaki’s fight with Zoro would not be exciting from a battle point of view, but also because of their distinct personalities. One can easily imagine Tatsumaki being annoyed with Zoro’s airheadedness and impressed (albeit in her Tsundere way) with his unwavering focus during fights.

When it comes to brute force, they’re equally matched. It depends entirely on Zoro if he can close the distance with Tatsumaki to land his lethal attacks. Haki and psychic abilities might come into play in their battle. Tatsumaki is more experienced with her psychic prowess and can employ it better in battle than Zoro. So, this match could be won by either of them, but Tatsumaki has more advantages.

1. Blast

Blast in One Punch Man

Blast is the strongest S-Rank hero, and a fight against him wouldn’t be easy for Zoro. Blast has many powerful attacks in his arsenal, and most of them are likely to be effective against Zoro. Moreover, Zoro’s Haki won’t have any effects on Blast, as he’s an extremely skilled fighter. If Blast teleports Zoro the way he did with Garou, it’d take years for Zoro to return to the battlefield.

On a more serious note, both these characters have extremely different fighting styles, which gives Blast an advantage. Zoro has direct attacks, which are likely to be ineffective against Blast, who fights with techniques and strategy. He’ll be a step ahead of Zoro in almost every situation, which will make him the winner of this match-up.

When it comes to anime characters, Zoro is clearly one of the overpowered ones. So, it was interesting to see that there are plenty of characters in One Punch Man who could give him some challenge. To be fair, One Punch Man characters are extremely strong in a league of their own. So tell us, do you agree with this list? Share your thoughts in the comments!
