Torra TV, a YouTube channel that mainly animates One Piece fights that haven’t been adapted by Toei Animation yet, took on the challenge of making this a reality.
Although this video was released 2 years ago and was one of their first animations, it has garnered over 840,000 views. What about Torra TV’s fictional yet impossible crossover between One Piece and Naruto makes it worth witnessing quite this often for fans worldwide?
The Amazing Fan Animation Almost Makes You Forget About One Piece vs Naruto
Torra TV might have released this 2 years ago, but the rivalry between One Piece and Naruto runs deep. Both series’ manga came out around the same time, in the late 1990s, and gained popularity with their anime adaptations in the 2000s. Since then, their fanbases have heavily debated, with topics ranging from which story is the best to which characters are better.
Along the line, the idea of crossovers became more popular. The comparisons between Naruto Uzumaki and Monkey D. Luffy were inevitable, as they are the protagonists of their respective manga, but it didn’t end there. Fans would come up with the most random match-ups that somehow made sense.
Whitebeard in his prime and Madara shouldn’t make any logical sense, not on Reddit or on video format. Despite this, Torra TV brought it to life, and now, fans feel as if the battle actually happened. The effort put into the animation, even if the video lasts for only 4 minutes, is mesmerizing.
Torra TV’s animation is not at the level of Toei Animation or Studio Pierrot, but that isn’t a problem. They have paced the action in a way that emulates it in the best way possible. The way Whitebeard and Madara move is exactly how you’d imagine them in One Piece and Naruto. The comments under the video even put the rivalry aside and praised Torra TV’s talent.

Prime Whitebeard vs Madara: Who Would Really Win?
The question Torra TV brought up remains, however: who would win in an epic battle, Madara or Whitebeard? Madara might be one of the most complex and overpowered anime villains, but the crown goes to Whitebeard, especially during his youth, before his terminal illness set in.
From the most recent chapters of One Piece, we know that Whitebeard had his Devil Fruit, the Gura Gura no Mi. It’s the most powerful Paramecia-type Fruit that grants the user the power to create vibrations and produce seismic shockwaves. It has been rumored to be able to destroy the world, and Whitebeard gave us a taste of that destruction during Marineford.
That being said, Madara is no pushover. He wouldn’t surrender to Whitebeard and certainly would give his all in the fight. In Torra TV’s video, he unleashed his Jinchuriki. Whitebeard would have a tough time against the Naruto villain, but we believe the former Emperor would ultimately win due to his superior endurance.
