One Piece: Every Devil Fruit Weapon Including Shamrock’s Cerberus Sword Ranked Weakest to Strongest

The Zoan Devil Fruits in One Piece are probably the most unique category because they possess a will of their own. This will is so strong that it even brings inanimate objects to life.

They not only develop a personality, but also gain mobility and unique combat abilities that separate them from other weapons in One Piece. The most recent version of this was seen in the manga series when Shamrock unleashed his saber, which had acquired the power of an Awakened Mythical Zoan-type Cerberus. Depending upon their powers and capabilities, here is a list of all the Devil Fruit weapons that have come to life from weakest to strongest.

7. Bunbuku (Teapot Raccoon Dog)

Bunbuku is not necessarily a weapon but a teapot that was animated after consuming an Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Tanuki. For those who don’t know, Tanuki is a Raccoon dog, and the Devil Fruit gave it a head, tail, and even legs, thus making it surprisingly mobile for a pot. He was owned by Kozuki Sukiyaki, who lived under the name Tenguyama Hitetsu after Kaido took over Wano in One Piece.

In terms of powers and capabilities, Bunbuku doesn’t have much relevance, as its strongest ability is storing liquids and tea just like other normal teapots. He was more of a comedic addition by Eiichiro Oda, and there is no evidence of high durability, potent attacks, or defense. He can only transform into a Raccoon Dog with a teapot as a torso.

6. Pato (Pen Bake-Danuki)

Pato is a non-canon inanimate object gaining Devil Fruit powers in One Piece. He was a character from the One Piece: Unlimited World Red, a special video game created for the Nintendo 3DS console. The only reason Pato is included in the list is that it was designed by the One Piece mangaka himself. Pato is basically a pen that “ate” the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Bake-danuki, which turned him into a type of tanuki monster from Japanese folklore.

Pato belongs to Patrick Redfield, the main antagonist of the video game, and he possesses the ability to transform leaves into different objects or people by writing on them, thus alluding to his form as a pen. In terms of combat, Pato doesn’t do much aside from producing clones or assisting in mobility roles, which are at least better than Bunbuku.

5. Lassoo (Gun Dog)

Lassoo is basically a gun that ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Dachshund (a dog Zoan), turning the weapon into a living, small canine-like firearm. It belonged to Mr. 4, a former officer and agent of the Baroque Works and one of the main villains during the Alabasta arc. Within the One Piece storyline, Lassoo had the ability to fire explosive baseball-like shots that became a major problem for the Straw Hat Pirates during Alabasta.

He can seemingly cough up infinite amounts of these baseball-sized balls, and on top of that, he could even think and act on his own. This is why he is placed among the top 5 weapon Devil Fruits of One Piece. He now works as the mascot of the Spiders Cafe, where the remaining members of the Baroque Works work, as seen during the Baroque Works mini-arc.

4. Alpacacino (Bazooka Alpaca)

Alpacacino is a bazooka firearm that ate an unknown Devil Fruit. The Devil Fruit, however, allowed him to turn into an alpaca and fire normal shots like a bazooka. He belonged to Shuzo, a member of the Neo Marines and now a prisoner of Impel Down. He was the main antagonist of the Z’s Ambition Arc in One Piece, which was a setup arc for One Piece Film: Z.

What makes Alpacacino so special is the fact that he can use Armament Haki, which was never seen before in One Piece. He can evidently increase the destructive power of his cannonballs by coating them with Armament Haki, which makes him incredibly dangerous. This unique power allows him to even damage Devil Fruit users, and although it was a part of a filler arc, it still confused One Piece fans a lot.

3. Funkfreed (Elephant Sword)

Funkfreed is one of the better-known Devil Fruit weapons that belonged to Spandam, the former chief of CP9 and CP5. The sword was animated after it somehow ate the Zou Zou no Mi, turning it into an Elephant Sword. He not only works as a weapon, but also acts as the unofficial bodyguard for Spandam. In terms of power, Funkfreed might be the third strongest Devil Fruit weapon in One Piece.

Funkfreed has all the basic powers and abilities of a Zoan-type Devil Fruit in One Piece, thus allowing it to transform between an elephant-sword hybrid and a full elephant. He possesses the size and strength of a full-blown elephant, the sharpness and durability of a sword, and a conscious mind that allows him to fight with his opponents on equal grounds. He became a major problem for the Straw Hat Pirates during the Enies Lobby arc.

2. Smiley (Compressed Gas Axolotl)

Smiley is a Vegapunk creation from Punk Hazard, built from compressed poisonous H2S gas and animated because of the Zoan Devil Fruit called Sara Sara no Mi, Model: Axolotl. The enormous size of Smiley made it look like a mountain-sized lizard with eyes, a mouth, legs, a caudal fin, and external gills. In terms of Devil Fruit powers, Smiley only received consciousness and the ability to transform into a hybrid form.

However, its core ability was to hold and later release enormous amounts of highly toxic gas that can kill anyone in One Piece. During its final stage in the story, Smiley transformed into a lethal, spreading chemical hazard that brought a major twist to the battlefield. He is truly one of the strongest Devil Fruit weapons within the One Piece storyline.

1. Cerberus (Sword Three-Headed Dog)

Cerberus is a sword, which was animated by a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allowed it to transform into a dangerous three-headed dog. While its role in Elbaph was quite small, it still managed to land significant damage on Loki, with different variations of attacks like detaching its three heads from its main body, making them fly around, and emitting flames from the neck openings.

Not only that, it also had the ability to manifest enormous blades from its three mouths, which allowed Cerberus to strike its targets by piercing them. It is owned by Figarland Shamrock, the commander of the God’s Knights and one of the most significant additions to the final saga. He is bound to return to the story, and with him, Cerberus will also return, which will give One Piece fans a chance to witness his power once again.
