Dave and James Franco are the brothers known for their comic roles and the charisma they bring to the movies. While the older brother may have helped the 21 Jump Street star, Dave Franco, recently expressed that it was his effort that gained him success and popularity in Hollywood.
Talking to Bustle, the Regretting You actor stated,
If I sucked, I would’ve disappeared very quickly.
His words came following the success of a recent outing, Together. In the movie, he was seen sharing the screen with his beautiful wife, Alison Brie. The fact that makes the outing interesting is that the stars played a married couple in the highly appreciated body horror.

In the same Bustle conversation, Dave Franco further reflected on his past life, stating that the days when people stated, “Hey, James Franco’s younger brother is acting, too! Neat! I love Scrubs!” have passed.
The actor also stated that despite his brother, with whom he shared screen in many outings, has helped him to secure agents,
No one was going to hire me just because I was James Franco’s little brother.
It was back in 2007 when Dave first stepped into the Hollywood industry with entries like After Sex, as well as the Jonah Hill and Michael Cera starrer comedy entry. For those unversed, Dave experienced the limelight around eight years after James had followed his acting career.

Meanwhile, Dave was also seen in the Comedy series, The Studio, alongside Rogen, Ike Barinholtz, Kathryn Hahn, and others. Now You See Me, Now You Don’t will have a grand ensemble this time. Starring Dave, Jesse Eisenberg, as well as Woody Harrelson, the movie will see Isla Fisher reprising her role from the first installment.
