In one of his recent IRL livestreams, Speed came across a Naruto fan holding a signboard that read, “Naruto is better than One Piece.” So, you can guess what his reaction could’ve been.

Of course, IShowSpeed didn’t let that big claim slide. He went straight up to the fan and insisted that Luffy would easily beat Naruto in a 1v1. He didn’t even sound doubtful about it, which shows how devoted he really is to One Piece.
Even his YouTube channel banner is inspired by One Piece, and he owns tons of Luffy figurines. Some people say he’s a “two-timer,” pointing out how his claim to like Ronaldo sometimes contradicts him wearing a Messi shirt. But at least in this case, there’s no doubt, he truly believes One Piece
IShowSpeed Says One Piece Is Better Than Naruto in Every Aspect
IShowSpeed even goes so far as to claim that One Piece as a whole is just better than Naruto in every aspect. He doesn’t hold back at all when it comes to flexing his love for the series, and he makes it sound like there’s not even room for debate.
For him, the world-building in One Piece is on another level. The way Oda connects islands, arcs, and histories together blows his mind, and he’s quick to point out that Naruto could never touch that kind of scale.
Then there are the characters. Speed calls them Goated! From Luffy to Zoro to even the side characters, all carry way more depth and personality than Naruto’s cast. In his eyes, they’re the ones who really make the story timeless.
And on a side note, he even praises One Piece‘s 1000+ episode runtime. While some may see it as a drag, he takes it as a sign that there’s just more content to enjoy. Maybe, to him, it’s proof of how long-lasting and legendary One Piece really is, and there’ll always be more to look forward to.
