Different Stories About Kairi Sane’s Husband
The WWE universe first got a glimpse of Kairi Sane’s husband when she shared on her X account on February 22, 2020, that after being in a long-distance relationship with her fiancé, she had gotten married. The announcement filled her fans with excitement, and WWE even released a message congratulating Sane on her marriage. However, speculations about her husband’s identity started there and then.

Shortly after her marriage announcement, several reports claimed that the former women’s Tag Team Champion has tied the knot with NJPW superstar EVIL. However, a report from Ringside News busted this myth. H Jenkins of the Ringside News shared:
Io Shirai is engaged to EVIL. She could be getting married soon, we don’t know. Shirai is out of action for a couple of months after tweaking her knee. Kairi Sane is now married, but her husband’s identity hasn’t been publicly revealed.
After that, there were continued speculations and guesses around the world of professional wrestling as to who Kairi Sane’s husband really is. Some media reports, particularly from The Training Sensai, even claimed that she is married to legendary Japanese wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura, but these are mere speculations with no official confirmation.
In reality, although various rumors point towards his husband being a professional wrestler and possibly a former WWE superstar, nothing conclusive can be said as of yet. Kairi Sane appears to be the only person at the moment who can unveil the secret of her husband’s real identity.
Kairi Sane’s WWE Exit and Subsequent Return
Shortly after her marriage, Kairi Sane was injured by Nia Jax during the May 18, 2020, edition of Monday Night RAW (via WWE). Sane did not wrestle after that and shortly left the company following the incident, owing to her unwillingness to remain in the United States.
Tokyo Sports later reported that Sane and her husband want to move to Japan, although the Pirate Princess wanted to maintain some type of relationship with WWE.
That desire turned out to be helpful for her WWE return at Crown Jewel 2023, where she viciously attacked Bianca Belair and delivered a strong statement in front of the WWE universe.
With her upcoming clash at this year’s edition of the Crown Jewel in Perth, it will be interesting to see how she performs against her former ally, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley.
