The series is created by Michael D. Fuller (Quarry, Rectify, and Lock & Key) and Erin Lee Carr (Britney vs Spears, I Love You, Now Die, and Mommy Dead and Dearest). Fuller and Carr are also the executive producers of the series. Steven Piet, who directed episodes of The Act, will direct multiple episodes, including the first and last.
Other executive producers include Nick Antosca (A Friend of the Family), Alex Hedlund, Mandy Matney, Steven Piet, and David Moses, Patricia Arquette, Jason Clarke, and Bill Johnson.
