Mindy Kaling revealed a shocking thing that focuses on the American actress herself. While portraying the character of Kelly Kapoor in The Office, she admits to being s*xually harassed. She says (via IMDb),

All the guys want to have s*x with me all the time. Every day I come to work, it’s nonstop s*xual harassment.

Kaling continued,

They had to have some people from General Electric come down and talk to us about it. There’s a lawsuit that’s about to happen. But other than that, it’s been great.

At the moment, Kaling is preparing for her new Hulu comedy, Not Suitable For Work. Besides that, in a startling revelation during The Mindy Project, Kaling confessed to a situation that she herself created and the aftermath that followed.

Did Mindy Kaling Admit to Controversial On-Set Behavior During The Mindy Project?

During the filming of The Mindy Project, Kaling kissed Lee Pace without his consent. The latter appeared in an episode titled, San Francisco Bae. It so happened that Kaling appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late-night show Conan, in which the revelations happened.

When asked about how power can corrupt anyone and if she (Kaling) has done something not meant to be, Kaling replied,

We’re just supposed to be having a conversation. But he’s so tall and he’s so handsome that in the middle of that, he was just supposed to be like, ‘What do you think, Mindy?’ and I was like—”

She further continued saying,

I improvised, just kissing him in the scene, which was not in the script. He was looming above me, and he asked me a question, and I was not listening to him at all. I was like mhm, mhm, mwah.

The story just doesn’t end here. Kaling revealed that Lee Pace, who was already shocked, went backstage and told the two writers (who told her), “Hey man, what are you doing? You could be sued for that!”

Kaling further admitted to having been scared herself before saying that she told Pace not to tell anyone, or he would be fired.
