Milly Alcock in Action: Supergirl Fight Scene Leak Is James Gunn’s Latest Headache

A new leaked video of Milly Alcock from the set of Supergirl is being circulated online. The video showed Alcock fighting off against a couple of men on the top of a military-grade tank. She then flew off the top of the tank with one of the men, with harnesses supporting both the actress and her co-star. Out of respect for the film, the video will not be attached here.

James Gunn is looking at a huge problem with this latest leak from the film. He has so far managed to keep a tight lid on the details of Supergirl or any of the other projects currently in development. Gunn’s DCU may not want to go down the route that the MCU is taking to protect their films.

According to reports and an account from actor Alan Cumming, the MCU gives no clue to actors about what they are filming or who they are filming with. It appears that individual actors are working with a green screen for their entire scene. Fans shared that this filmmaking process is essentially t aking the life out of the movie and the characters.

Gunn may want to avoid that from happening and keep his films more grounded in their subject matter and the making process. It isn’t the first time that the DCU has had to deal with such an issue.

Earlier, Alcock’s costume was leaked in a video that was taken far from the set (via GameRant). It also revealed Alcock facing off with Jason Momoa‘s Lobo. While details of his costumes weren’t visible clearly, the character had his signature shoulder pads and gloves and carried a battleaxe in his hand.

Gunn didn’t just have to deal with excited fans who would leak the details of the film. Earlier in March, Momoa almost tried to show Cinemablend his Lobo costume. However, his publicist stopped him from doing so. Gunn humorously responded to this video, sharing on Threads: “I just want to profoundly thank Jason’s publicist.”

Supergirl Official Synopsis: Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El Goes Down a Revenge-Filled Path

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl has just revealed the confirmed synopsis, and there’s a lot for DCU fans to be excited for. First of all, the film promises to take a darker path for Kara Zor-El, different from what we saw in the Arrowverse. Alcock’s character will go on a murderous revenge quest in this film.

The synopsis appeared on Supergirl‘s DC page, where it was revealed that the story takes place during Kara’s 21st birthday. According to DCU PRIME TV on X, the synopsis read:

While celebrating her 21st birthday, Kara Zor-El travels across the galaxy with her dog Krypto, during which she meets the young Ruthye Marye Knoll and goes on a “murderous quest for revenge”.

Now, some fans commented that the synopsis was actually that of Tom King’s 2022 comic book series Woman of Tomorrow. In the comics, the villain, Krem of the Yellow Hill, kills Ruthye Marye Knoll’s father. She draws Supergirl into the conflict against Krem, and they travel across the galaxy on the hunt for Krem.

Last year, we learned that 3 Body Problem actress Eve Ridley joined the film as Ruthye Mary Knoll. Matthias Schoenaerts, the Belgian actor known for the film Loft, will play the villain in the movie. Jason Momoa also appears in the film as Lobo.

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl Reportedly Wrapped Filming at WB Studios Leavesden

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow was being filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden. In a recent update, it was revealed that the production has wrapped up filming.

A post, widely shared on social media, celebrated the completion of filming. It also stated, “4 months, 3 countries, blood, sweat, and tears”, suggesting that it wasn’t an easy schedule at all.

We also got confirmation from James Gunn on Threads that the filming had wrapped. Earlier, Jason Momoa also took to Instagram to share that he had completed filming his portions as Lobo. Actor David Krumholtz also shared something similar on his Instagram, with a photo of his “Zor-El” chair.

Earlier, we got a look at Milly Alcock preparing for the film. She had Tom King’s 2021 comic book, with the same name as her movie, in her hands (via DiscussingFilm/X).
