Thanks to the PlayStation State of Play September 2025, we finally have a release window for Marvel’s Wolverine: Fall of 2026. While most players are only getting to know this after the State of Play presentation, others already knew about it (kind of). How, you ask? Insomniac suffered a severe cyber attack in 2023, wherein their entire roadmap for the future was leaked.

The leaked Insomniac roadmap had already mentioned that Marvel’s Wolverine would be released in 2026, which came true. Now that this leak is confirmed, it makes us wonder if the other leaks are true, too.

Insomniac Caught Up With Marvel’s Wolverine‘s Original Release Window, Despite the Leaks

Given that the severity of the leak was major, Insomniac still showed extreme resiliency and bounced back from the situation. Along with the roadmap, the entire build of Marvel’s Wolverine

was leaked back in the past. Initially, everyone thought that the game would now be either cancelled or postponed for several years.

However, neither of those things happened, as Insomniac was determined, and now they are all set to release the game in Fall 2026. What makes the entire situation sweet is that they managed to catch up in speed, despite getting attacked by the hackers. That being said, even a huge hindrance in their path couldn’t shake Insomniac from releasing the Wolverine game.

An important takeaway from this scenario is also that a lot of things leaked during the cyber attack can be true. And if it really is, then we may already know the future lineup of Insomniac games.

What’s Next for Insomniac After Marvel’s Wolverine?

According to the leaked Insomniac roadmap, a bunch of other games are scheduled to release by 2030. For your reference, we have given a list of those games and their release window below:

A notable thing is that Insomniac was supposed to release a spin-off game for Venom in 2025. However, due to certain difficulties, we still haven’t heard anything about it. While reports claim that the game is still under development (via Screen Rant), there’s no official confirmation about it from the developers.

Anyway, it seems like PlayStation is going to get a dose of Marvel games, thanks to their tie-up with Insomniac Games. What game from the above leaked lineup are you most excited about? Let us know about it in the comments below.
