Ahead of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3’s official release on streaming platforms in January 2026, fans in the U.S. will be able to witness the beginning of the Culling Game arc on the big screen this December. Titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, this theatrical movie release will feature key moments from past events in Season 2, as well as the opening two episodes of Season 3.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Kicks Off This December in US Theatres
In North American theaters, GKIDS has licensed the movie for this early release of the Culling Game arc, scheduled for December 5, 2025. The movie will essentially bridge the gap between the Shibuya Incident arc and the upcoming Culling Game arc in the anime.
Fans in the U.S. will get to everyone’s our favorite characters, like Itadori and Megumi, return much earlier than in most other regions. GKIDS has also shared a promotional trailer for the Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution movie.

Before its North American release, the movie will hit the UK, Latin America, and Germany on November 7, 2025. Other big theater chains are also expected to drop their screening schedules by late October. Fans will be able to book early tickets as they will roll out through Crunchyroll and Toho.
The movie, in fact, will be much more than just another recap or some early preview. With boosted sound, widescreen visuals, and packed community screenings, fans will once again get the perfect setup to feel that dark, chaotic energy of Jujutsu Kaisen on the big screen.
When Will Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Release on Netflix?
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will be released on Crunchyroll in January 2026; however, an exact date hasn’t been announced yet. There’s also no news of it releasing on Netflix at this time. Netflix is not expected to be the exclusive platform for the new season, as Crunchyroll will stream new episodes weekly, in sync with their Japanese premieres.
That said, like the previous seasons on Netflix, Season 3 might eventually be available there too, just not as early as the Crunchyroll release.
