Jonathan Majors did not hold back when he appeared on a recent episode of Den of Kings, and the conversation turned to religion. During the discussion, rapper NLE Choppa voiced his opinion, one that many might not agree with.
He stated that people following Christianity praise the Son more than the Father, while it should be the other way around. Where was this coming from, you ask? Well, Choppa believes that we are made like Jesus Christ and that he is our brother.
So his argument is that why should a follower bow down to praise his brother, instead of his father? Read his entire statement below:
In Christianity, it’s a thing where people praise the son more than they praise the father. And that’s what I don’t like. Because if we are man made in the likeness, Jesus is our brother…Why would I drop down and praise my brother instead of praising my father? And that goes back to honoring your parents.
Majors, who had been listening intently to what Choppa had to say, interrupted him with a question, asking the rapper if he had read the Bible. He replied, “I read the Bible. I listen to the Bible. I receive from source.“
To that, Majors had just one thing to say: “I would say read it again.” Now that’s a brutal comeback if we have ever seen one! After that, Choppa said and did nothing except laugh awkwardly.
Viewers React to Jonathan Major’s Brutal Comeback
The episode went on for an hour and forty-five minutes, and Majors’ comment was one part that viewers couldn’t help but rewind again and again. Naturally, the audience had to share its two cents on the matter.
One user commented under the video, “‘Have you read the Bible…I would say…read it again…’😂😂😂 took me outtttttt, but needed to be said.” Another compared Choppa to early learners who take a few classes and believe that they’re ready to teach.
They wrote, “NLE reminds me of the prisoners that first start learning something, instead of continuing to learn throughout the years. He takes a few classes and then believes he’s already ready to teach.“
The clip also made its way to X, where netizens were ready with their jokes and comments. Take a look:

Nothing funnier than a smart dummy.
Yeah he was speaking trash confidently and Jonathan Majors kindly told him to stfu 😂😭
Clearly, people are having a field day trolling Choppa after his comments. Moreover, Majors’ hilarious reaction to the rapper’s claims was just the cherry on top.
Did NLE Choppa Like Jonathan Majors’ Wife Before They Got Together?
After announcing their engagement in November 2024, Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good tied the knot in March 2025. But before Good was Majors’ woman, Choppa apparently had a huge crush on her.
The actress/model came up while he played a game of Smash or Pass on REVOLT’s The Jason Lee Show. When a photo of Good came up, Choppa simply couldn’t contain his excitement, and it doesn’t take a genius to know if he chose Smash or Pass.
He said, “I’ve been waiting on her! Yes!” This was when Good had recently turned single. As if trying to play the wingman, Lee ended up dialing Good’s number, much to Choppa’s thrill. The rapper said, “You got Meagan’s number? Come on!“
Choppa added, “I’ve been wanting to take her on dinner, I want to get, like, some roses…I wanted to do some real…never done before for Meagan Good.” They talked for a bit, but things clearly didn’t go anywhere for the two, as just a couple of months after the interview, Good started dating Majors.
Apparently, people bombarded him with the news on social media, prompting him to put out a cryptic tweet, stating,
Stop taggin me in it. I see it
Good talked about her chance encounter with Choppa with TMX, calling him a “sweet young man,” before adding, “I’m very old. I’m just kidding; he’s too young for me.“
Choppa reacted to her comments on X, putting out a tweet of his own, stating, “Baby you ain’t too old, I ain’t too young, we just right in God’s eyes. Can we get a AMEN? @MeaganGood.”
So, basically, not only did Majors steal Choppa’s crush from him, but he also took a subtle dig at his opinions on Christianity. What are your thoughts on it all? Let us know in the comments section below!
