John Cena has been the face of the company for more than a decade. Aside from his exceptional technical skills inside the ring, Cena’s behavior and demeanor outside the squared circle are also well-known. An example of his gentlemanly behavior surfaced recently when Cena was seen publicly with his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh.

John Cena Proved He Is a Real Gentleman on Numerous Other Occasions
John Cena has consistently shown that being a true gentleman goes far beyond the spotlight of fame. Apart from this incident, in which he exemplified gentlemanly behavior with his wife, there are numerous occasions where Cena displayed old-school ethics in real life.
A similar incident to this one took place when Cena was caught in a charming display of old-school chivalry. On one occasion, John Cena was seen on camera helping his date get over a puddle by lifting her. It was a small but considerate gesture that demonstrated his respect and attentiveness, demonstrating that he knows how to show consideration for others even in the smallest situations.
Similarly, while shopping at a grocery store in Florida, as reported by The Best Media, Cena noticed a retired Vietnam veteran wearing a Navy Seabees hat. He approached the man, thanked him for his service, and struck up a warm conversation. Without drawing attention, Cena then quietly paid for the veteran’s $100 grocery bill, a generous act that deeply touched the man and his family.
His long-standing work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he holds the record for the most wishes granted, over 650 and counting, is perhaps most impressive. It gives children with life-threatening illnesses hope and joy. These private and public encounters demonstrate that Cena’s humility and kindness are just as real as his extravagant persona.
Other Nice Guys in the WWE: Superstars Who Have Exemplified Gentleman Behavior
Decency and gentlemanly behavior go beyond John Cena in the WWE. The next-generation superstars in the company have also portrayed that WWE superstars are the benchmark when it comes to public chivalry outside the squared circle.
One such name is that of Sami Zayn. The current United States Champion is the founder of ‘Sami for Syria,’ a campaign that provides medical facilities in war-torn regions. Beyond that, through sincere social media posts or in-person appearances, Zayn regularly engages with her fans in meaningful ways. He is renowned for being genuine and approachable, frequently taking the time to connect and listen.
Similarly, Adam Copeland, aka Edge, Rey Mysterio, Dave Bautista, and Titus O’Neil are also known for their good behavior in public and philanthropic works. WWE superstars are known to carry global influence, and so the positive attitude and good behavior of these superstars speak volumes.
