There’s more than enough content in the light novel for season 3, but no official announcement has been made yet. However, the future of the series looks bright, given its popularity.

I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince anime is based on the light novel written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. The light novel began its run in 2020 and is ongoing at present. There are a total of ten volumes so far. The anime concluded with its 24th episode, which aired on September 25.
In its two seasons, the anime has adapted around 5 volumes of the light novel, up to chapter 94. The manga equivalent of this is up to chapter 86 from Volume 10. The anime has only reached the halfway point of the story, and there are five more volumes that are yet to be adapted. So, there’s more than enough content for subsequent seasons.
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince season 3 hasn’t been announced yet. Season 2 was announced shortly after the first season, so that is a bit concerning. Although, if season 3 gets confirmed, it’s likely to adapt the next two volumes of the light novel. The seasons so far adapted three and two volumes, so the upcoming one should follow a similar approach to maintain the pacing and quality.
Given that there’s no certainty regarding a season 3, this estimate might sound a little hopeful. However, the popularity of the anime suggests that season 3 might be announced sooner rather than later.

The anime is one of the top ten shows on Crunchyroll in the United States in September, according to Flix Patrol. It has surpassed Tougen Anki and even Dandadan on the list.
It has clearly found its audience, which is a good sign for a potential season 3. Besides the popularity, the finale of season 2 teased some new characters. It ended with Escher’s song, and now that she’s the pope, it’ll be interesting to find out what lies in store for her.
