WWE Legend Hulk Hogan was featured in an animated series named Hulk Hogan‘s Rock’n’Wrestling. The cartoon show aired from 1985 to 1986 and showcased The Hulkster and several other superstars of his time. Now, WWE has relaunched the series once again.
The Stamford-based promotion has brought the show back on the official YouTube channel of WWE Vault. The series portrays the babyface version of Hulk Hogan, who teamed up with several other babyfaces to get around bizarre situations. On the other hand, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was the leader of the heels who caused unleashed chaos in the show.
WWE Vault will be uploading four episodes of the animated series every Saturday. The first batch has already been released on September 6. All the episodes will be uploaded two hours apart from each other in chronological order, starting from 6:00 a.m. ET.

Aside from Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Junkyard Dog, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, The Iron Sheik, and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan are also featured on the show. Owing to the constant travel and packed schedules of these legends, however, CBS had to hire voice actors to voice the characters of the wrestlers, with Brad Garrett voicing the animated Hogan.
WWE’s Tribute To Hulk Hogan Following His Demise
Hulk Hogan‘s Rock’n’Wrestling has been relaunched after over a month since the legendary pro wrestler’s unfortunate demise. Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida, at the age of 71. WWE paid tribute to The Hulkster on the RAW and SmackDown episodes following his demise with ten bell salutes.
The rosters of both brands had gathered on the respective shows, with Eric Bischoff and Hogan’s former manager and friend, Jimmy Hart, in attendance. The Hulkster’s son, Nick Hogan, and his wife, Tana Lee, were also present to pay their respect to the departed legend.

Hulk Hogan made his last WWE appearance on January 6, 2025, when Monday Night RAW made its debut on Netflix. His final match in the Stamford-based promotion saw him defeat Randy Orton in a grueling match at the 2006 SummerSlam.
However, this wasn’t where he hung up his boots and fought his last career match at a TNA house show in the UK in 2012. The Hulkster is the third-longest reigning WWE World Champion, holding the title for 1474 days.
Other Movies And Shows Hulk Hogan Has Worked In
While Hulk Hogan didn’t voice his character in Hulk Hogan‘s Rock’n’Wrestling, he did work in several movies. He didn’t achieve the success enjoyed by the likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, and Batista, but hardcore Hulkamaniacs liked seeing Hogan on the big screen.
The pro wrestling legend made his Hollywood debut in 1982 with Rocky III, where he played the role of Thunderlips. After an iconic entrance and overpowering Sylvester Stallone’s character of Rocky Balboa, The Hulkster eventually bit the dust. Stallone uploaded an image from the movie shortly after Hogan’s demise on his official Instagram account and wrote a heartfelt message to pay homage to the icon.

He was then cast in No Holds Barred in 1989, which saw him play a film lead for the first time. The character of wrestler Rip Thomas fit Hulk Hogan like a glove. The film had all the quips and elements of pro wrestling and also featured a battle cry, “Rip ‘em,” yelled by Hogan’s character.
Owing to the legend’s role in it, the film easily attained the status of a classic. He also worked in the following movies:
