Helldivers 2 is all about spreading managed democracy and taking out alien scum, and while most of the bugs and machines are manageable, there is one group of enemies that makes the game more annoying than anyone else, and those are the Voteless. So, we decided to make a guide on how you can take care of the Voteless with ease. Without any further ado, let’s just get started.
Best Tactics to Take Care of the Voteless in Helldivers 2
The Voteless are basically the annoying space zombies who are squishy, but infuriatingly persistent, and to keep them at bay, we have to focus on anything that can either light them up or mow them down in bulk. One of their key weaknesses is that they are not armored, and although they can sponge bullets, they absolutely crumple under the effects of fire and gas.
One of the best weapons in Helldivers 2 against the Voteless is the SG-225SP Breaker Spray&Pray, which is an automatic shotgun, and thanks to its horizontal spray and large magazine capacity, it can literally obliterate those alien zombies. The ARC-12 Blitzer is also a popular candidate because of its infinite ammo and the ability to stun attacking Voteless enemies.
These Voteless are the most vulnerable against gas weaponry and Stratagems because of their completely melee-oriented nature and tanky disposition. Blocking off a choke point using the E/GL-21 Grenadier Battlement will take care of the Voteless because they lack the dexterity to climb over it. The Machine Gun Sentry and the Gatling Sentry are also capable of self-defense during defense scenarios.
For some fire damage, you can never go wrong with the SG-225IE Breaker Incendiary, which is basically a burst-fire shotgun that sets its targets ablaze and burns them over time. You can also use weapons that have the suppressed trait to keep the Voteless mobs more manageable, because they are heavily reliant on sound to detect enemies.
Why are the Voteless so Annoying in Helldivers 2?
The Voteless are the ultimate party poopers in Helldivers 2, and unlike the Terminid Scavengers or the Automaton Troopers, they are strangely resilient to almost everything. The Voteless are essentially brainwashed Super Earth Citizens who were abducted and mutated by the Illuminate.
They are the most basic troop and are strictly melee attackers, constantly leaping and lunging towards the opponents to strike further than expected. While they have no armor and a squishy body, they are surprisingly durable and can even survive being bisected from the waist down, so a shot to the head is absolutely what they need to stay down.
