Riot Games‘ highly anticipated title, 2XKO‘s closed beta officially begins today, which is September 9, 2025. To get into it, players will have to secure a code either from the developers or from another player who has it. Since the length of the closed beta testing phase is not disclosed, you have to hurry before Riot Games concludes it. How To Get a Closed Beta Code for 2XKO?
Players can join the closed beta by signing up on the official 2XKO website here. There, you have to create or log in to your existing Riot account and complete the process as prompted on the screen. If you’re lucky, you will receive a closed beta code from the developers via your registered e-mail ID.

Besides, if you do not have a code, you can ask another player to share their code. Thankfully, Riot has created a megathread on Reddit where you can request a code in the comments. If someone has it and is willing to share, they will DM you with the code, so you can get into the 2XKO
However, remember that asking for codes outside of the said megathread might have some serious repercussions. That’s because Riot Games has strictly prohibited sharing codes outside of that thread. You may even get scammed, as several players are trying to sell the closed beta codes for 2XKO. So be careful!
A general thing to remember is that if you played on PC during Alpha Lab 1 or 2 playtesting, you can start playing 2XKO closed beta right away. Moreover, if you played it on console, you can still get inside using the Riot Client on PC. Just make sure you are using the same Riot account as you used on the console.
Will Your Closed Beta Progress Carry Over to The Full Release?
According to the official announcement post from Riot Games, your progress from the closed beta will not be carried over when the game fully releases. This is because the beta phase is only there for the developers to collect the necessary data and feedback before the original release happens.
All your unlockables, Ranked and Champion Mastery progress, saved file, etc, will be wiped out once the closed beta period is over. That being said, you should rather treat it as a hands-on preview than a head start. You will be receiving an exclusive “Challenger” player title for your effort during the closed beta when the game fully releases.
Is the 2XKO Closed Beta Available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox?
Sadly, the closed beta for this game will only be available to try out on PC. Those who are using PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S can’t test this game currently. However, it will be made available on all the respective platforms once it is released.
One more thing, the developers have promised that 2XKO will support crossplay and cross-progression across all platforms. That being said, you don’t have to stay restricted to only one platform to enjoy this title from Riot Games.
