In Roblox Adopt Me, Black Dog is a limited, rare pet that can be adopted by spending 43,000 Candies during the Halloween Event (2025). After the event is over, Black Dog will disappear from the game, and trading will be the only way to obtain it then. Where is Black Dog in Adopt Me
As part of the week 2 update in Adopt Me‘s Halloween Event, Uplift Games has added a Black Dog for the players to pet. As mentioned earlier, you won’t always find this pet in its dog house, which is located on Adoption Island. Instead, you will find it walking on the roads of this island. It walks very slowly, so you can easily find it by exploring Adoption Island for a minute or two.
In our experience, we found Black Dog walking on the road behind the Pet Shop. It is on the other side of the river, behind the shop. You will know it’s the right pet when you find a black-colored dog with red glowing eyes. Moreover, it will also have a spiky collar on its neck, which is hard to miss.
Once you have found Black Dog, get closer and interact to purchase it permanently for 43,000 Candies. If you do not have enough Candies, you can also redeem your Pet Releaser Points at the Pet Releaser NPC and buy either a Basic Egg (500 Pet Releaser Points) or a Crystal Egg (4,500 Pet Releaser Points). Both of these eggs have a little chance of hatching the rare Black Dog.
How to Earn Candies in Adopt Me
Candies can be earned in a variety of ways in Adopt Me, but here are the fastest ways to accumulate a lot of this event-exclusive currency:
The Hauntlet: It is a mini-game that can be accessed near the Arcade area on Adoption Island. In this game, you have to go through as many doors as possible without losing all your hearts. The more doors you cross without getting caught by the ghost, the more you will get Candies upon exiting.
Costume Party: This mini-game is located next to the Hauntled on Adoption Island. In this game, you dress up your pet according to the given category alongside other players. Vote for the best costumes, and the one with the most votes at the end will win and earn lots of Candies.
Headless Horseman’s Pouch: Next to the Kitty Bat spawn area on Adoption Island, you will find an NPC called the Headless Horseman. This NPC has a pouch next to him from which you can pull an item every 10 minutes for free. If lucky, you can get plenty of Candies from there.
