After the intense clash between John Cena and AJ Styles at Crown Jewel 2025, only a handful of appearances remain in the retirement tour of John Cena. The ‘never-seen 17’ is set to hang his wrestling boots on December 13 during Saturday Night’s Main Event in Capital One Arena, Washington, DC.

Everything You Need to Know About John Cena’s Final WWE Appearance

Without a doubt, John Cena is one of the greatest performers inside the squared circle. Cena will feature during the November 10, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW (via WWE) in Boston, Massachusetts. Additionally, Cena has two other scheduled appearances in November, on November 17 in Madison Square Garden and on November 29 at Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego.

After these appearances, Cena’s retirement tour will head towards its conclusion in Washington, DC. Interestingly, there is a massive demand for tickets for Saturday Night’s Main Event

on December 13. As reported by Wrestling News, as many as 45,000 were in the Ticketmaster virtual queue trying to secure a place for themselves. The numbers quickly soared to 60,000 during the pre-sale.

A table illustrating the event details is as follows.

Furthermore, several WWE superstars are speculated to be Cena’s final WWE opponent. Earlier, the most popular name in this regard was that of Adam Copeland, aka Edge, but given his WWE return now looks highly unlikely, other names have emerged on the scene.

The next most popular name who could potentially face Cena for his retirement match is that of The Rock. The People’s Champion recently hinted at this possibility during an interaction with Travis and Jason Kelce at the New Heights interview, where he stated that he has some say in his retirement match.

Additionally, amongst the emerging young talents, wrestlers like Dominik Mysterio and Joe Hendry are believed to be the ones who can become Cena’s final opponent in a passing-of-the-torch moment to the next generation of prolific performers inside the ring.

Ticket Prices for Saturday Night’s Main Event: How Does It Compare to Other PLE Events?

The ticket prices for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 are shockingly expensive. The SNME event, which will be the final time the professional wrestling world will see Cena inside the squared circle, is poised to surpass the previous editions of the event.

The November 1, 2025, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event is scheduled to take place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. As per Ticketmaster, the lowest-priced ticket for the event is priced at $46.80, but the December 13 version of the same event has astonishingly highly priced tickets

Similarly, the company has set the standard ticket prices for Survivor Series: WarGames, a Premium Live Event preceding the SNME on December 13, at around $157, surprisingly lower than that of the event, which will take place at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

There are several reasons behind the high ticket prices of the event, which will feature Cena’s final WWE appearance. One of the major reasons is the limited seating capacity and the increasingly high demand for tickets, which has significantly increased the prices for the event in proportion to their availability.

Another reason is the emotional and cultural significance of John Cena. The 17-time World Champion is one of the most renowned figures in the world of professional wrestling, and, therefore, WWE and the authorities at the Capital One Arena are trying to leave no stone unturned to make this event a huge success.

Whatever may be the case, with the kind of response the company has received during the pre-sale for the event, there is no doubt that fans are desperate to witness their favorite wrestler for the final time and will try their level best to witness his final WWE appearance at the Capital One Arena. What remains to be seen, however, is who will face Cena for the final time before he bids farewell to the sport he absolutely loves.
