It’s time to gear up, Helldivers! A brand-new Major Order has been issued in Helldivers 2, calling us all to liberate Alairt III, Herthon Secundus, and Zea Rugosia from the clutches of the squids. This won’t be an easy task, as we all know that the Illuminate are tough enemies that need the right strategy and loadouts to tear them down. Luckily, we’ve got you covered with these 5 loadouts to tackle the latest Major Order in Helldivers 2 against the Illuminate.
Loadout #5
The star of this loadout is the AR-23A Liberator Carbine, which has a rapid firing rate that lets you tear through Illuminate units in no time in Helldivers 2. The GP-20 Ultimatum is a staple of any build, which works perfectly with the G-4 Gas in the grenade slot. When we talk about Stratagems, the Stalwart clears the battlefield, the 500kg bomb takes care of Warp Ships, and the MG-43 Turret is great for defensive support, keeping enemies off you, and covering your back.
Loadout #4
The good old PLAS-1 Scorcher is perfect for taking down all Illuminate in this Major Order in Helldivers 2. It easily shuts down Fleshmobs, can take on Overseers in just two or three shots, and also handles Stingrays. A single Gas Mine is also enough to take out an entire group of Overseers. The Supply Pack will give you tons of utility, Stims, and extra ammo. Target those Harvesters with the Heavy Machine Gun.
Loadout #3
While we’re sticking with the Purifier as the primary weapon, the GP-20 Ultimatum takes care of Warp Ship destruction and occasional Harvester targets. The A/ARC-3 Tesla Tower has the highest potential of all turrets in Helldivers 2, but also the trickiest to use. Make sure to give it cover against the Illuminate. Gas mines are flawless for clearing swarms, and the Emplacement is great for tearing Harvesters. The Warp Pack gives you the space you need.
Loadout #2
This loadout is a bit off an off-meta one for taking out Illuminate in Helldivers 2, but believe us, it just works fine. The Eruptor works quite well against the squids as it’s capable of striking down things like Voteless, Warp Shps, and even Harvesters. If you’re getting swarmed, it’s time to pull out the ARC-3 Arc Thrower and stun them. Keep in mind, it might take a bit of time to get the hang of this build.
Loadout #1
The Erupter returns in this Helldivers 2 loadout. For the secondary slot, we’ve chosen to go with LAS-58 Talon, so you wouldn’t have to worry about ammo economy. The Orbital Laser is solid for taking out ships or larger targets if you get swarmed. The Orbital Gas Strike is also great for crowd control, but Eagle Strafing Run can be a better pick if you’re dealing with Leviathan. The Guard Dog adds a bit of punch to this build.
