Like every other video game that lets your character deal damage, Hades 2, in fact, comes with different types of weapons too. And as obvious as that might have been, you might just need this guide to figure out how to unlock every single weapon in the game.
It all starts off with the Witch’s Staff, which is unlocked by default at first. Hades 2 further allows its players to customise their builds through boons, keepsakes, and more, with weapons grabbing most of the leverage in the build.
To unlock new weapons, the player will need to head to the Silver Pool at the Crossroads. This is where Melinoe will craft and unlock every weapon using resources gathered from different parts of the world. This is how you should go about unlocking the five other Nocturnal Arms, i.e., the weapons of Hades 2.
How to Unlock Sister Blades in Hades 2, Lim and Oros
In order to unlock the Sister Blades, the player needs to spend 1 silver at the Silver Pool in the Crossroads. Silver can be mined in Erebus after acquiring the Crescent Pick gathering tool.
Start a run, mine Silver using the Crescent pick, and then craft the Sister Blades at the Silver Pool to unlock this dual-weapon set that is considered to carry the fastest movement when compared to the rest of the weapons.
How to Unlock Moonstone Axe in Hades 2, Zorephet
Hades 2 players can unlock the moonstone Axe by gathering and spending 15 Silver at the Silver pool in the Crossroads. As with the Sister Blades, Silver is mined in Erebus using the Crescent Pick.
After accumulating enough Silver, the player can then craft the axe to wield a weapon with a moveset of sweeping attacks, which comes at a cost of speed despite dealing huge damage with each swing.
How to Unlock Umbral Flames in Hades 2, Ygnium
Umbral Flames in Hades 2 requires two silver and two cinder to unlock at the Silver Pool. The silver can be mined in Erebus, while Cinder is rewarded for defeating the boss Hecate, the Titan Goddess of Witchcraft, at the same location.
Once these materials are gathered, the Umbral Flames weapon can be crafted, which offers a unique set of ranged attacks along with magical effects, allowing players to shoot out magic orbs or surround themselves with them.
How to Unlock Argent Skull in Hades 2, Revaal
To unlock Argent Skull in Hades 2, the player will need to spend 2 Glassrock and 1 Bronze at the Silver Pool. The Glassrock can be obtained from the Fields of Mourning, while Bronze comes from the surface region of Ephyra.
However, you will also need to progress in the main story before unlocking this particular weapon, which allows the player to shoot out one of three skulls, which are supposed to be picked back up later in order to reload.
How to Unlock the Black Coat in Hades 2, Xinth
To unlock the Black Coat, you will need to gather and use 2 Adamant and 2 Cinder at the Silver pool after downloading the Olympic Update. The Cinder can be obtained by defeating Hecate in Erebus, while the Adamant is obtained as the player progresses to Mount Olympus after fighting Prometheus.
Each weapon in Hades 2 comes with its own crafting requirements and unlock sequence, giving players reasons to explore new regions and defeat tough bosses for rare materials.
