The upcoming livestream will showcase all the new content arriving in the game, from new characters and banners to story quests and event previews. Of course, we can also look forward to the primogem codes that will give us free in-game rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to tune in, and what to expect.
Genshin Impact 6.1 Livestream Date, Time, and Countdown
The Genshin Impact Version 6.1 “Luna II” livestream is scheduled for October 10, 2025, and will begin at 8:00 AM (UTC-4). The broadcast will be available on the official Twitch and YouTube channels. As in previous Special Programs, we’ll be getting three Primogem codes during the event.

What to Expect from the Luna II Livestream
The Version 6.1 Special Program will deliver the first in-depth look at the Luna II update, including new characters, quests, events, and game features. The spotlight will likely fall on Nefer, a rumored 5-star Dendro catalyst user specializing in Lunar-Bloom DMG. Leaks suggest she may function as a main DPS character

In addition to Nefer’s reveal, fans can expect teasers for the upcoming Archon Quest, which is rumored to explore the connection between the regions of Nod-Krai and Khaenri’ah. We could also get an appearance from characters like Durin, Varka, Arlecchino, and Rerir.
The livestream will also give us new details about the Miliastra Wonderland game mode and upcoming limited-time events, alongside new weapons and banner rotations. According to leaks, Nefer will headline Phase 1 banners alongside Furina, while Arlecchino and Zhongli may return in Phase 2.
