Kaido is called the Strongest Creature in One Piece, but in the world of Black Clover, he might not amount to much. His Devil Fruit, Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, makes him transform into an azure dragon. He can not only wield all three types of Haki, but his strongest clashes can split the sky. However, Black Clover characters have different magic, which ensures that they don’t even need Haki to defeat Kaido.
So, who amongst the Black Clover characters can overwhelm Kaido’s strength? In this article, a hypothetical one vs one match is held between Kaido and those Black Clover characters who can defeat him. The ranking is based on characters who might face difficulty defeating Kaido, to those for whom it’s just a walk in the park.
10. Nacht Faust
Nacht can use Shadow Magic to trap people who step into his shadows. He can even drag his targets into these shadows and travel via them. Additionally, he can control the mana around him and has contracts with not just one but four devils, which proves his might as the vice captain of the Black Bulls. Nacht can trap Kaido in his shadow garden to limit his mobility and attack with offensive spells.
Nacht might have a stamina issue, and his Union has a time limit, but his speed and powers might not let it become a long, dragged-out match.
9. Asta
Asta has a Devil Union with Liebe and can nullify any type of magic; he is also deadly with swords. He can even defeat supreme devils and can slice through magic and deadly attacks. He mostly relies on physical combat and uses Anti-Magic as a support system. Kaido’s attacks might damage Asta if they land, but the latter might be faster. Asta’s swords might even dispel Kaido’s Devil Fruit form.
Asta’s Anti-Magic might even disable Kaido’s Haki system. In other words, he can bypass the conventional standards of durability and endurance and can cut through almost anything.
8. Yuno Grinberryall
Yuno primarily uses Wind Magic, but he also possesses Star Magic. He can generate and manipulate wind and even create whirlwinds. His Star Magic lets him fire beams of magical light, create defensive barriers, and even teleport himself. Additionally, he can summon Sylph, the wind spirit, to assist in battle.
Yuno’s Blades Shower might be able to penetrate through Kaido’s defenses. His whirlwinds can disrupt Kaido’s clouds, and his speed can easily outmaneuver his opponent’s. Additionally, Yuno can teleport, which is something Kaido would never to able to anticipate.
7. Lilith and Nahamah
Lilith and Nahamah are devils connected with the Tree of Qliphoth and are definitely the most terrifying devils to walk out of the Devil Realm. Their raw strength was immense, and it took everything to defeat them. The two can use Demon Ice and Demon Fire Magic. Nahamah’s fire can burn through anything, even intangible concepts. In fact, the devil can even create fire tornadoes, bullets, and merge with fire. Lilith, on the other hand, has ice-based attacks, which are equally deadly.
Needless to say, Kaido will have to yield to this deadly duo of devils who can blitz him in a fight.
6. The Witch Queen
The Witch Queen is one of the most underrated, powerful characters in Black Clover. She has powerful Blood and Healing magic. Thus, she can not only manipulate blood, basically making people into puppets, but also mend bones and reinforce limbs without breaking a sweat. Her immense magic power makes her a threat even amongst the mages of the series.
Needless to say, Kaido does not stand a chance against the Witch Queen. She can simply control Kaido like a puppet, and her foresight rivals Observation Haki.
5. Yami Sukehiro
Yami can use Dark Magic to generate and manipulate darkness. He is an Arcane Stage mage and might even be able to absorb some of the most powerful attacks of Kaido. His Dimension Slash can cut through space itself, which means Kaido does not have any chance against him. It can slice through Kaido’s tough scales almost as if they were made from paper.
Yami can also use his ki as a sixth sense and can perceive and react to attacks without even seeing them first. This will render Kaido’s Observation Haki useless. Overall, his ability to cut through space, manipulate darkness, and haki-like power are enough to overpower Kaido.
4. Mereoleona Vermillion
Mereoleona has Fire Magic, which means she can generate and manipulate fire. Kaido might be able to use flames and Bolo Breath, but he does not have mastery over the element of fire itself like Mereoleona. Mereoleona can even take control of the surrounding mana to engulf it in a stream of flaming punches. Other than strength, endurance, and speed, she is also sometimes known as one of the strongest in the Clover Kingdom.
Mereoelona can rain flaming punches on Kaido, and her flames will burn through Kaido’s regenerative powers. Her hand-to-hand combat prowess will also come in handy, and she can overwhelm Kaido in no time and won’t even need Haki because of her raw output.
3. Lucifero
Lucifero is the highest-ranking devil connected to the Tree of Qliphoth and is also one of the three rulers of the underworld. He can use Gravity Magic, which is deadly and can flatten Kaido in minutes. He can even warp space to evade attacks or tear apart magic itself.
Kaido does not have enough strength to take out Lucifero’s heart, and even with his full dragon manifestation, Lucifero wins with raw power, even without Haki.
2. Lemiel Silvamillion Clover
Lemiel is the very first Wizard King and even teamed up with Licht and Secre to forge peace. He possesses Light Magic, which is not only one of the fastest but also most destructive attributes in the Black Clover world. He can create anything out of light and is even capable of erasing matter itself.
Lemiel’s light powers can erase matter on contact, which means Kaido does not stand a chance if he comes into contact with a single attack. Lemiel can also use scary sealing magic and can seal Kaido away, even in his Dragon form. He will definitely win against Kaido, no questions asked.
1. Lucius Zogratis
Lucius is the host of the devil Astaroth and was born with two souls in his body. The other soul belongs to Julius, the Wizard King. Lucius is the final antagonist of Black Clover and has powers beyond imagination. While most wizards have one type of magic, Lucius has six. He can manipulate souls, time, gravity, and has even absorbed body, blood, and bone magic.
Kaido might have brute force, endurance, and a suitable Devil Fruit, but matched up against a monster like Lucius, he has no chance whatsoever. Kaido can be easily trapped in a time bubble, and Lucius can take his time picking one of the multiple magical powers he has to cripple the Strongest Creature in One Piece.
