However, one day, two people visited the place and beat up the man, taking away his boots and giving them to Amo. Amo witnessed this person sprout wings and fly towards the Sphere with another person. Later, the abuser died in a scuffle while trying to take the boots away from Amo.
After hearing her story, Rudo realized the person who visited Amo was the same guy who murdered Regto. He also apologized to her and tried to make friends. Once the Cleaners had left, Amo was paid a surprise visit by Jabber. It is unclear what he did to Amo, but it seems like he has taken away her boots.
