Gachiakuta Episode 9 Recap
Gachiakuta episode 9 begins with Rudo desperately trying to wash his hands and gloves. He awakens Riyo, who asks him about his wounds. Rudo reveals that it was his parents who had wounded his hands. The scene then shifts to a meeting with Arkha Corvus, the leader of the cleaners. It is revealed that each Cleaner needs to have some prep before entering the No-Man’s Land.

The Cleaners have an artist who creates their masks, called Full-Face, and their uniforms, but he can’t be hurried. Additionally, a Giver casts a spell on other Cleaners to avoid sudden accidents. Enjin then reveals that they would be going to the City of Graffiti, Canvas Town.
There will be other Cleaners accompanying them, namely Zanka, Riyo, Delmon, Tamsy, and supporters, Gris, Follo, and Tomme. Then Delmon, a huge man, approaches Rudo and aggressively tells him how much he appreciates Rudo’s accomplishments. Rudo is taken aback by the sheer confidence of Delman and the team.
The team heads off to Canvas Town, and it is revealed that most big cities have a dome-shaped cover that protects them from Spherite trash. The city’s gates are fortified, and anyone with funny business on their mind cannot get inside. The team visited the city to seek out a giver who would cast a protective spell on them. However, the mayor reveals that the Giver, named Gob, had passed away. At the same time, Gob had picked his successor, a child named Remlin Tysark.

It is rare to pass down a Vital Instrument, but Remlin would be able to use Gob’s. She is talented but is left with a heavy responsibility on her shoulders. Yet, the crying mess of a kid suddenly perks up, takes Gob’s Vital Instrument, and draws a spell on the roof, creating fireworks. It announced to the city that there would be joy and celebration and not grief. However, the Cleaners would have to wait for their spells because Remlin has also inherited Gob’s sense of freedom and whimsy.
