The Star Trek actor has also been a regular at conventions and has recently starred in a documentary. While he was assured to be recovering, there have been some contentious reports on his hospitalization.

While direct sources reportedly assured fans that he was recovering and was ‘doing good’, Shatner’s agency, TalentWorks, reportedly claimed that the news was false and that Shatner was not hospitalized (via ABC7).
Few outlets have reported on the debunking, and there seems to be no elaboration from the agency. Shatner last posted on X (formerly Twitter) twenty hours ago, wishing his fans a Jewish holiday, Rosh Hashanah. On September 24, the actor posted a GIF that marked the beginning of autumn, which ironically had a visual of an old person falling.

At 94 years old, William Shatner has been leading a pretty active lifestyle. He has made several public appearances and is also reportedly working towards bringing back his version of Captain Kirk in Star Trek. Talking about death and his life, Shatner has only good words to say, and stressed finding joy in life.

The actor has also been to space and has expressed how he felt emotional looking at the Earth from such a distance, experiencing the overview effect, and stressed the importance of saving it from climate change and global warming.
