American professional wrestler Liv Morgan is making headlines once again, though this time around, it’s not for her gig on WWE. Rather, she is widely reported to be set to make her official debut in Zendaya’s upcoming Euphoria Season 3. However, official confirmation and announcement have yet to be received about the same.
As reported by multiple sources, including social media handles like @mooniblivion and @Culture3ase on X, My Time Is Now on Facebook, and even @prowrestlingmedya on Instagram, the wrestling star is reportedly set to appear in the upcoming season of the hit HBO show. Her role, though, has not been revealed yet.
It’s worth noting, though, that these reports are currently unconfirmed from official sources. As of this writing, there has been no official news or press release from HBO or the show’s production team about it. The confirmed cast list for the new season does not include her, so far. So, for now, fans might as well take these reports with a pinch of salt.
Simultaneously, if she has indeed been cast in the show, then the fans doubting her must put their worries to rest. After all, Morgan has been building her acting career outside of WWE as well, having made a guest appearance in Chucky Season 2 and Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo. Not to mention, she even opened up about her love for Euphoria in past interviews!
Who Else is Returning and Debuting: Plot and Cast of Euphoria S3
With the production of the HBO series in the works since earlier this year and this upcoming season set to hit the screens by 2026, much of the main cast has been confirmed to return in Euphoria Season 3 as well.
As reported by E! News, the main confirmed roster for this forthcoming season currently includes Zendaya (as Ruby “Rue” Bennett), Sydney Sweeney (as Cassandra “Cassie” Howard), Hunter Schafer (as Jules Vaughn), Maude Apatow (as Alexis “Lexi” Howard), Jacob Elordi (as Nathaniel “Nate” Jacobs), and Colman Domingo (as Ali Muhammad).
They will be joined by Grammy winner Rosalía, former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, and A Different World star Kadeem Hardison in guest roles. Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten, Sharon Stone, and Asante Blackk will also reportedly join the cast in guest roles (via Deadline Hollywood).
Besides them, Martha Kelly (as Laurie) and Chloe Cherry (as Faye) were reported to be promoted to series regulars for Season 3, with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace also set to join the main cast (via Deadline Hollywood).
Meanwhile, Storm Reid and Barbie Ferreira, who played the characters of Georgia “Gia” Bennet and Katherine “Kat” Hernandez, respectively, will not be returning to the series. Unfortunately, the not-returning cast also includes Algee Smith (as Christopher “Chris” McKay), Nika King (as Leslie Bennett), Austin Abrams (as Ethan Daley), and Javon “Wanna” Walton (as Ashtray).
The plotline of Season 3 will reportedly feature a time jump, which will remove the characters from their usual high school setting, per Deadline. Besides that, pretty little is known about the plot. Plus, to answer your doubt about whether this would be the last season of Euphoria: It’s not confirmed yet, but it could likely be so.
Liv Morgan is Actually a “Huge Fan” of Euphoria
Liv Morgan’s official casting in Euphoria Season 3 may not have been confirmed yet, but one thing’s for sure: The professional wrestler herself is a huge fan of the smash-hit series. Turns out, she watched it pretty late, months after the first season was released, because that’s all she heard from the “girls at work.”
In an interview with TV Insider, she candidly shared her experience of watching the show for the first time, saying,
I watched it so late. Season 1 was out for months and months, but the girls at work were talking about it. I just put it on and right away was like, “Wow, I can’t believe I’ve never watched this before.” I was so happy that I was able to binge it. I think I watched Season 1 in a day and a half.
Morgan then proceeded to give her review on the same, calling it “realistic” while confessing how majorly obsessed she had become with it. She said,
It’s so realistic. I feel like watching that show is like being a fly on a wall. It felt like more than just actors playing characters on a show. I’m a huge fan. So many of the girls love it. We talk about it every week.
That’s not all. When it came to addressing how the HBO series featured “extremely flawed characters dealing with issues like addiction, mental health, and everything in between” and how it tackled all these topics, the 31-year-old wrestler honestly answered,
I think it’s important to dive into topics that may be considered taboo or raise concerns. I think they do a good job portraying realistic events. Things that happen in everyday life. Students who go to high school are dealing with the themes the show presents.
In fact, Morgan has been so impressed by the show that she feels projects like Euphoria hold significant importance on television. Here are her exact words:
I think it is triggering at some points, whether you are dealing with drug addiction, self-esteem issues, body dysmorphia. I think shows like this are important to be on television.
Judging from these words, it’s evident that not only was Morgan thoroughly entertained by the series, but her heart and mind were even captivated enough by it for her to feel it was a show worthy of being watched by everyone. That says a lot about her love for Euphoria!
Liv Morgan Also Had Tremendous Praise for Zendaya’s Performance in Euphoria
During the same interview, when she was asked if there was any particular character that she really saw herself in, Liv Morgan claimed she didn’t know if there was anyone that she felt like she could particularly relate to. But while that’s that, she then proceeded to heap tremendous praise on Zendaya, who played the role of Rue as a series regular.
Gushing on and on in praise of the actress and her character, Morgan said,
I don’t know if there is anyone I feel like I particularly relate to, but I love Rue. I think Zendaya is so talented. I feel she plays the role so effortlessly. […] I love Rue. I’m such a fan of her work and feel she plays the role so phenomenally.
Well, that role did earn the actress multiple nominations and wins for major awards, including the Emmys, Golden Globes, BET Awards, and even the MTV Movie & TV Awards, so that acclaim from the pro-wrestler is only understandable. But Morgan wasn’t done praising just yet. She continued to say,
Everyone on this show plays the parts so naturally. I think all the characters are so distinct. You can probably find yourself in any of these characters. There is something for everyone.
With that being put out there, it would truly be pretty cool if Liv Morgan could actually join the cast of Euphoria as well, as all these reports claim. Who knows, it might as well be true? Guess that’s something only time can tell!
