Logia devil fruit users in One Piece can transform their bodies into an element of nature. They can also create and control that specific element. These elements range from ice, magma, and sand to even all-consuming darkness.
Thus, Logia-type users can be extremely powerful, and their power to transform their bodies into a large amount of their element can make them a tough target. There are fourteen canonical logia fruit users in One Piece, and all of them have been ranked from least to most powerful.
14. Caribou
Caribou debuted in the Sabaody Archipelago arc. He ate the Numa Numa no Mi devil fruit that allows him to create control of transform his body into a bottomless swamp. His body can hold the characteristics of mud or quicksand, and he can absorb almost anything into it.
He can thus store a large amount of objects inside himself, even an entire weapon factory. He can also smother people with his swamp and sneak around places undetected.
13. Monet
Monet is the scout and assistant for Caesar and has the ability to fly. Her Devil Fruit is the Yuki Yuki no Mi, which helps her create control and transform her body into snow. She has a high level of control over her powers and can compress or solidify them to create snow barriers, snow blades, or other attacks.
She can even make people succumb to hypothermia or transform herself into a huge snow monster with icicles as fangs. She was even able to fight against Luffy and Zoro without much difficulty, though she wasn’t able to defeat them.
12. Caesar Clown
Caesar is a mad scientist and a former colleague of Vegapunk. He is extremely cunning but also cowardly. His Gasu Gasu no Mi Devil Fruit allows him to create, control, and transform his body into chemical gases. Thus, he can create gases that are combustible or poisonous. He can use his powers for various experiments and can stay in a gaseous state if he wishes.
Caesar can also absorb different gases and absorb their properties. He can fly in his gaseous form and even become dense enough to hold objects. He can also create a destructive gas beam.
11. Karasu
Karasu is one of the executive officers of the Revolutionary Army. He ate the Susu Susu no Mi Devil Fruit, which allows him to create control and transform his body into soot. He uses it to mold soot in to a flock of crows. His soot crows can fly at high speeds and relay information. They can also be used in combat. Karazu can also use soot to build things.

Smoker has been a recurring One Piece character ever since the Loguetown arc. He has battled the Straw Hats multiple times and gained promotions due to his efforts. He is said to be a top-notch pursuer and has incredible physical strength.
Smoker’s Devil Fruit, the Moku Moku no Mi, allows him to create control and transform his body into smoke. He can even densify the smoke to make it a solid and can fly by turning himself into smoke. He can also use smoke to trap his opponents and restrain them.
9. Crocodile
Crocodile, the former boss of Baroque Works, was one of the toughest One Piece villains due to being a logia devil fruit user. He ate the Suna Suna no Mi, which granted him the power to create control and transform himself into sand. This ability made him almost immune to any kind of physical attacks, and he became invincible in sandy regions.
He can create huge sandstorms and absorb moisture from anything by just touching it. However, his weakness is that when moisture contacts his body, it reverts to solid form, rendering him unable to transform.
8. Enel
Enel, the tyrannical God of Skypiea and the primary antagonist of the saga, is extremely powerful. He was invincible in Skypiea as he defeated every opponent he faced. He ate the Goro Goro no Mi devil fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform his body into lightning.
As a Logia devil fruit user, he can use a wide variety of lightning-based attacks. He can electrocute his opponents just by touching them and unleash up to 200 million volts at once. He can also move at the speed of lightning and use electricity to restart his own heart.
7. Aramaki/Ryokugyu
Ryokugyu became an admiral after Kuzan’s resignation. He defeated the weakened King and Queen and also possessed a strong enough will to remain conscious after Shanks’ burst of Supreme King Haki. His Mori Mori no Mi devil fruit allows him to create, control, and transform his body into plant life.
He can generate a huge quantity of plants to create large-scale attacks. His plants can also absorb any liquid they touch, which can dehydrate living creatures, leaving them as husks. He can even use his plants to fly and can bring greenery anywhere he visits.
6. Portgas D. Ace
Ace, the former second division commander of Whitebeard Pirates, was mercilessly killed by Akainu. However, his powers are still memorable in One Piece. He was even asked to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but he refused. He was also strong enough to be acknowledged by Shanks and Blackbeard. He had immense potential, but alas, he was taken out at Marineford.
His Mera Mera no Mi devil fruit allowed him to create control and transform his body into fire. He could unleash massive amounts of fire, and his burning fists could annihilate entire cities. He could shoot dire bullets, spears, and other weapons. He could also create a wall of flames as a defense mechanism.
5. Flame Emperor Sabo
Sabo is the chief of staff of the Revolutionary Army and is considered the no. 2, right after Monkey D. Dragon. He also carries the legacy of Ace since he consumed the Mera Mera no Mi devil fruit. As a Logia Devil Fruit user, he can create, control, and transform his body into fire. He can also use Ace’s signature Hiken, but has grown more powerful over the years, possibly enough even to overpower the peak Ace form.
Even without his Devil Fruit, he had become powerful enough to stand beside Dragon and was able to take on Diamante. After eating the Devil Fruit, his powers only increased.
4. Borsalino/Kizaru
Kizaru might be one of the most annoying villains and a Logia Devil Fruit user in One Piece. His mere presence can cause mass panic, and he fought against Whitebeard’s division commanders on equal footing. Kizaru has also fought against Luffy multiple times and proved his strength.
When it comes to his devil fruit, he consumed the Pika Pika no Mi, which lets him create, control, and transform his body into light. Thus, he can move and attack at the speed of light and even shoot powerful laser beams. He also uses a sword made out of light.
3. Kuzan/Aokiji
Kuzan was first selected for the post of Fleet Admiral, but after being defeated by Akainu, he defected to the Blackbeard Pirates. Due to being trained by Garp, Kuzan has unbelievable punching prowess. He even engaged Whitebeard during the Summit War and only lost to Akainu by an inch, turning half of Punk Hazard into an icy land.
Kuzan is also one of the strongest Logia devil fruit users. He has the Hie Hie no Mi, which lets him create control and transform his body into ice. He can make anything out of ice and can also use Haki-enabled attacks. He can casually turn several kilometers of ocean into ice.
2. Sakazuki/Akainu
Akainu is the current Fleet Admiral of the Marines and a fearsome fighter. He dealt Ace the killing blow and also fought Kuzan for 10 days straight, which ultimately turned half of Punk Hazard into a burning land. He ate the Magu Magu no Mi, which allows him to create, control, and transform his body into magma.
He uses burning punches or uses his powers to burn and melt anything in his path. The heat emanating from his body due to his magma powers dissuades people from striking him physically. He can also melt himself through anything.
1. Marshall D. Teach/Blackbeard
At the moment, Blackbeard is the most powerful Logia Devil Fruit user in One Piece. He possesses the Yami Yami no Mi, which lets him create, control, and transform himself into darkness. But this Logia fruit also has another usage, which is to allow Blackbeard to absorb or nullify any other Devil Fruit’s powers, which is how he stole Whitebeard’s Gura Gura no Mi.
He currently holds a bounty of 3.9 billion bellies and played a key role in the execution of Ace and the death of Whitebeard. He has become one of the series’ main antagonists and might be the final enemy Luffy has to battle.
